Sample
Here's a sample shot with MINOR editing. I was just fooling around at this point in time and not taking anything serious. Used the b/w filter on the camera. Has a "retro" sepia filter and a few others too. But yeah, this isn't a "serious" shot but that's ok. When I'm REALLY working at it they'll look a lot better.

there's more where that came from...
By no means is this full size either, this is like, resized 75% like, 4 times. Maybe 3. Anyway, the original is HUGE.

Bored, Yet Funny.
A scene/chapter from "The Lord of the... whatever" at http://flyingmoose.org/tolksarc/book/book.htm
This excerpt taken from "The Departure Of Boromir™"
"Alas! The horn of Boromir™," he said, "Hmm, I suppose I'd better
make my way down there. Besides, this is just unartistic anyway."
For although Aragon would be pleased to get Boromir™ out of the way, it
could be, how shall we put it, inconvenient if he was known to be directly
responsible.
Unsheathing his sword, and crying Endurit! Endurit! he ran all the way
down the hill again, and crashed through the trees, to find Boromir™
immobile, and lying against a mediocre tree, his cloven horn beside him.
Aragon knelt beside him and tried to rouse him. But, Boromir™ did not
move.
"Yay!", cheered Aragon, his delight undisguised. "Thus passes the heir of
Denethor™, Lord of the Tower of Commerce! One down, two to go!"
"I heard that!" said Boromir™, slowly.
"Bother," said Aragon. "But since you're alive, you might as well make
yourself useful. What happened here? What happened to those halflings who
were supposed to be guarding you? And more importantly, where is Arwen?"
"Orcs have taken them," said Boromir™, struggling. "Arwen too, I think,"
he lied, remembering where Aragon's priorities lay.
"Which way did they go?" asked Aragon.
"Dunno. I passed out," said Boromir™. "Blood loss, you see."
...
Tiring of this, Aragon drew his sword, and waved it around quite
menacingly. "Can I get some attention round here?... Thank you," he said at
the sudden and quite expected silence. "Now, Boromir™ here is dead."
"No I'm not!" objected Boromir™.
"Yes you are, you'll be stone dead in a minute," said Aragon, kicking
Boromir™ firmly. "Thanks for your concern," he sarcasmed, "but I am Okay,
because I only just got here. But it seems that Arwen has been captured by
the enemy. We must pursue immediately."
"But what about the halflings?" asked Lego-lass.
"They, too, were captured. Alas, we do not know for certain whether the
Ring-bearer is with them, but we must assume the worst."
"Yes, Frodo was with them," lied Boromir™. "Now will someone help me up?"
"Come, let us go," said Aragon.
"Hadn't we better tend to the fallen first?" asked Lego-lass.
"But we must be swift," said Giggly. "He would not wish us to linger."
"What I want is to be taken to Minas Tirith™!" declared Boromir™.
"Very well," said Aragon. Although he did not like the delay, it was,
perhaps, best to deal with Boromir™. "We will lay you in a boat with your
weapons and give you to Anduin. Then you shall pass to Disgiliath safely."
"No I won't!" exclaimed Boromir. "There's a waterfall in the way! It's not
navigable."
"Ah, but our boats are from Lorien. They are magical, right? Magical boats
can safely go down waterfalls," blustered Aragon. "Well known fact, that," he
then added.
"Indeed," said Lego-lass, vaguely suspecting that Aragon did not know the
truth of his words, but not daring to say.
...
Later, the remainder of the company dragged Boromir™ to where they
had left the boats, but found only the destroyed remnants of the boats.
"Alas!" said Aragon. "An ill fate is on us today."
"Orcs. Must be. No-one else would have destroyed the boats," said Giggly.
They retrieved what they could find of their baggage, and then fashioned
a crude raft from the boat wreckage. Now, they tied Boromir™ to this, and
made doubly sure the knots were secure, but first taking the precaution of
knocking him cold. Then, they pushed the raft from the shore out into the
water and the raft floated south. They watched the raft wane to a dark spot
against the golden light, and then the screams started.
"No! You can't do this to me! I'm the Heir to the Stewardship of Gondor™,
you know! I demand you-".
But he was interrupted by the waterfall. The raft vanished downwards. The
River had taken Boromir™ son of Denethor™, and he was out of the way,
at least for the moment.
there's more where that came from...
Sorry, I liked this part... This isn't all of it but you can figure out where to get it and stuff if you REALLY want to read it. Anyway, I'm bored and can't stand to do homework right now and what not...

Did you know that males produce several 100 MILLION sperm every 4 to 5 DAYS? (Dang son, please do NOT try to save all of them...)
AND!
That females come with at least 400,000 pre-installed at birth?
By all rights don't you think that you should be charged with murder at least once a month, ladies when you're letting go of half a kid? And let's not even go into the guys issue...

*sigh*
You are all more than welcome to come visit me in my "apartment without a kitchen"... I'm still alone and I'm fine with it, I actually like it and it's kind of prep for me living on my own, I mean I WILL be 21 here this year and a few other things that are pending/need to be researched...
Um, I have a Child Dev. test at 9 that I'm currently trying to study for but can't seem to get into the mood again. Long week, sore throat that's feeling swollen but it's not uncommon for it to feel that way when I get a cold. Dead tired, want to sleep, finally got my toilet fixed. My number is 554-3814, call me sometime, no one does... I still need a phone so I can return my roommates to them. I am currently about $150 short of getting money for two very much important and needed books. God already totally blessed me in that department, as in I got like, $60.00 +, off of a brand new book here at the school. Can't ask parents for money, not again, and granma won't give me money without adding it to what my parents are already paying her back for and... I'm trusting, but I'm weary. (I'm beginning to wonder about a lot of things... Not for lack of trust in God, just things that have always seemed to have affected my family.)
Still patiently waiting for that someone whom I'm gunna marry, I do have like 5 years left, at least, in the single boat... Trying to quick update on my life in 8000 words or less... :-P
I'm writing for the paper and working in the darkroom. Going bowling, for free, it's homecoming week, on Thursday. Going to go see Into the Woods sometime in the near future but still don't know when for sure 'cos I'm indecisive. Crave Mexican from the local restaurant but don't have enough money. Need food desperately so I can fill the cupboard I call my own because I can't eat food from the caf. Am going to make cookies for Beebe 1... (Nic and Dane and the guys.)
there's more where that came from...
Going to go to bed now I think, very tired, must sleep, and wake up, by 7.

I MIGHT have a new roommate by the time I get back Sunday! She came in to scope out the room and stuff, her roommates asked her to move out, kinda like mine only the opposite way... So she might come live here, but Beth you can still come visit 'cos there's still room! :)
Anyway, yeah, so I might have a new roommate. She may stay here tonight, she may just move some stuff in tonight. Either way... I may still get to keep my "game table" set up though 'cos there's still only two of us. :)

So To Be More In-Depth
I don't know what's up with why they moved out but it has a bit to do with the fact that I'm not a loud person and they were concerned about me being so quiet and what not and it's not that I didn't want to talk it's just that I _am_ a quiet person, I talked when I needed to or when I was asked things but usually I was pretty quiet, as those who know me well know that I tend to be sometimes. But yeah, I'm not sure right now either... A couple of my guy friends, Nic and Dane, who were helping them move out were like, "We'll move in with you, it's ok! We'll be back!" and they were totally joking but they knew it would make me feel better... Gotta love guys who know how girls tend to feel sometimes...

GOOD Poo!
More
by Matthew West
Album : Happy
Take a look at the mountain
Stretching a mile high
Take a look at the ocean
Far as your eye can see
And think of Me
Take a look at the desert
Do you feel like a grain of sand?
I am with you wherever
Where you go is where I am
And I'm always thinking of you
Take a look around you
I'm spelling it out one by one
(Chorus)
I love you more than the sun
And the stars that I taught how to shine
You are mine, and you shine for me too
I love you yesterday and today
And tomorrow, I'll say it again and again
I love you more
Just a face in the city
Just a tear on a crowded street
But you are one in a million
And you belong to Me
And I want you to know
That I'm not letting to
Even when you come undone
(Chorus)
I love you more than the sun
And the stars that I taught how to shine
You are mine, and you shine for me too
I love you yesterday and today
And tomorrow, I'll say it again and again
I love you more
Shine for Me
Shine for Me
Shine on, shine on
Shine for Me
(Chorus)
I love you more than the sun
And the stars that I taught how to shine
You are mine, and you shine for me too
I love you yesterday and today
And tomorrow, I'll say it again and again
I love you more

'Cos I Can
And because I'm bored.
I really like how people assume that they know without a doubt who I'll marry, especially since they haven't met the person they think I'll marry. I'm used to this lady trying to hook me up with guys but shoot she hasn't even met the current man she thinks I'll marry! In all honesty it's fine with me, let her think what she wants but when I DO get married she'll probably be surprised to find out she was wrong. (Unless the unlikely, short of God's will, change of any peoples minds in which case...) Goodness forbid she even ask if there's anyone I'm the least bit interested in, which there is but it's not up to me so I'm waiting somewhat patiently... I'm making good progress with things though so it's good, meaning I'm making good progress in preparing my mind and heart and just in general growing up. (And I have someone to make my dress, 'cos I've wanted the same one for YEARS now... Like, I've had a dress picked for 5 years, I think. It's really pretty, if you're interested in seeing it I'll have to bring the picture to church with me or something.)
Anyway, my cousin is finally engaged, a few other people I know are engaged, at home and at Fox, it's cool. I think the last wedding I went to was my cousin Syrna's, granted I didn't get to be any of the really fun and supportive people that stand up there in a dress but I saw the whole thing... (Granted she has like, 2 sisters and 2 cousins that are like her sisters so...) But yeah, it's cool, it's nice to be just there in general to be part of the witness group but I do think that at least once in my life, before _I_ get married, it'd be cool to be a stand to the side supporter. Then again most of the people I know and expect to get married are younger than me and/or male and well, guys don't have bridesmaids. :-P
Um, more thoughts on this later.

Interesting Thought
This is an interesting thought I ran across while reading for World Religions...
This was a thing done by Freud so it's psychological and everything cool like that...
"In his explorations for the human subconscious, he believed that he discovered the basic human need for a father image." That's the cool part but here's his conclusions.
"Since human fathers are imperfect, even at their best, people substitute an idealized father image that they refer to as "God." This notion is enhanced by the presence of an "oceanic feeling." Just as we may be awestruck by the size, depth and impenetrability of the sea as we view it from the shore, so our contemplations of the ideal father image leave us with a feeling of impenetrable vastness. At the root, religious vision if a symptom of psychological immaturity."

I hate the legal system... They very well could get Edward Morris out of getting whatever he should get because he told them he heard demons. They're probably going to plead he's insane. Funky Laws
Taken from "It's Against the Law" published in 1971.
For all you want to be teachers in Arkansas...
"Beanshoots are prohibited by law in Arkansas. Any person found using a beanshooter or similar implement shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor."
"The use of motorboats on the city's streets is against a local ordinance in Brewton, Alabama."
"It is illegal to hunt or shoot camels in Arizona."
"In Los Angeles a customer of the meat market is prohibited by city ordinance from poking a turkey to see just how tender it is."
"A Lake Charles, Louisiana law makes it illegal to let a rain puddle remain in your front year for more than twelve hours."
"It is against the law in Pueblo, Colorado, to raise or permit a dandelion to grow within the city limits."
I tend to like this one:
"An Ohio law makes it a felony for an instructor of roller-skating to seduce a female pupil."
Simply because I always get at least one drink of water when I go visiting:
"In Walden, New York, it is illegal to give a drink of water to anyone unless you have a permit."
"In Vermont, it is illegal to whistle underwater."
For all us non-monthly shavers out there:
"It it unlawful for a man or womand to go unshaven in Carrizozo, New Mexico."
there's more where that came from...
"It is against the law in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for hackmen to reach out and pull prospective passengers into the cab."
Good for morning people but just about no one else:
"In San Francisco, it is unlawful for any person to beat, sweep, or clean any carpet or rug upon any sidewalk or street except between the hours of twelve o'clock midnight and eight o'clock in the morning."
"It is illegal to lasso a fish in Knoxville, Tennessee."
"It is illegal in Virginia for any person to willfully and negligently permit any unhaltered horse of the age of one year or more to go at large or to take such horse to any place of public worship."
This is THE best law EVER:
"In Oregon a dead juror cannot serve on a jury."

As Long As You Love Me
Although loneliness has always been a friend of mine,
I'm leaving my life in your hands
People say I'm crazy and that I am blind
Risking it all in a glance
And how you got me blind is still a mystery
I can't get you out of my head
Don't care what is written in your history
As long as you're here with me
Chorus
I don't care who you are
Where you're from
What you did
As long as you long me
Who you are
Where you're from
Don't care what you did
As long as you love me
Every little thing that you've said and done
Feels like it's deep within me
Doesn't really matter if you're on the run
It seems like we're meant to be
Chorus
Bridge
I've tried to hide it so that no one knows
But I guess it shows
When you look into my eyes
What you did and where you're coming from
I don't care
As long as you love me baby
Chorus to fade
Ok sorry for the boyband moment but I heard it drifting out of the bathroom as my sister was cleaning up and had a moment. In all reality that's kinda how it's suppose to be... Unconditional. And man, that's what I want, nothing less... High standards baby! I guess that's what comes from having a brother who sets the standards hey?

Stupid cat keeps going potty in the house... She's an outdoor potty type cat but it's cold and she doesn't want to go outside. Only hitch, she keeps peeing and pooping in my old room. I have to wonder what would happen if I still slept in there. What's worse, mother's reaction to it... My sister's reaction is kinda annoying too. She acts like HER "sweet little baby" would NEVER do anything like that... Yeah freaking right! (Hey brah, remember what I talked to you about mom? Sister does it too...)
Ew, ok, boredom overtook me and I quizilla-ed... "Which Celebirty are you going to MARRY?!" Hello I am a girl am I not? Apparently I'm going to marry Christina Aguilera... Ew... Now I'm going to marry Viggo Mortensen... Gross! Good actor but I'd rather have Johnny Depp... Ha ha ha, I'm the "Legolas" version of Orlando Bloom... Sad 'cos I'm a girl but oh well... :)
Your soul is bound to the White Rose: The
Pure.
"I've been waiting in the dark for a long
time, shining my beacon of hope through the
shadow. If you see me, don't you hide your
eyes from me."
The White Rose is associated with purity, honor,
and chastity. It is governed by the goddess
Artemis and its sign is The Cross, or Agape.
As a White Rose, you are a person of your word.
You may have a strong moral code, but
regardless of your virtue, you always stay true
to yourself. To you, love is the most pure of
emotional forms and it's just a matter of
waiting for it to bless you. Some people may
say you are too idealistic, but it's only
because you don't want to mess things up.

You will die of being beaten to death with chairs
at the council of elrond.
if you lived in Rivendell how would you die?

Hilariously misspelled name of a quiz... "What kind of durg are you?"... I don't know about being one nor am I on one... *bites tongue*

You are HomeStar. You may not be the brightest
crayon in the box, but you are so gosh darn
loveable. Your lack of intelligence often gets
you into trouble, but your friends are always
there for you. Who cares about your speech
impediment, everyone thinks you're cute.

In The Event
In the event that anyone is going to go visiting, or plans to go visit, anyone I'd like to go visit I'd like to ask if I could come along? I need to get cleaned up but IF anyone is going visiting and knows it and doesn't mind me tagging along let me know so I can get ready.
