 Once upon a time [okay, so only four weeks before this writing,] a mother and daughter made a trip down to their local McDonald's for the opening day of their Ty Teenie Beanie promotion. The daughter, an avid collector of these beanies, made her way quickly into the store, while her mother lagged behind. The mother then beckoned for her daughter to come back outside. Although the beanies were beckoning, the look on her mother's face was baffling.
 The source of her confusion was a tiny furball of a kitten all mussied up from crawling around the parking lot and garbage cans.
 As you may know by now that girl is me, and the furball is Teenie. She came home with us that evening (a sort of beanie baby bonus,) and soon went through an identity crisis. There were name votes and suggestions all over the place. However, I stuck to my guts and went with the name I instinctly thought of from the get-go. So this beautiful young lady was christened "Teenie" even though she is more often addressed as "Cutie Pie", "Baby", & "Honey Buns!"
 Now this little bundle of joy is developing her own alter-ego for use in the cyber realm. She'll be sharing her own adventures and musings either here or as guest entries in my journal... as TigerLily!
