so it doesn't come out until tuesday, yet somehow our box showed up last night...
I finally got it in my hands after a good two weeks of release, my copy arrived after much ado with the selling company, the mail, and ex-landlords! got home... plugged it in last night, blaring it over all my hanging anxiety and just melted!
he: "guess what i've got in my pocket!"
I could have sworn I owned a copy of this... but I can't find it anywhere, so I nabbed another this morning in my travels/errands *sigh*
bought specifically for track #2 [Beautiful One]... I soon lent it to a friend who just as quickly fell in love with the same track and had to go out and by me a new copy to keep mine for his own!
I put together a nice mix as a V-day project... my way of offering individual Valentine's to my peeps!
the sticker on the outside said som'n about "for fans of Radiohead & Moby"... after my new found desire for Moby's Monkey Music I thoguht I'd give it a whirl on the demo computer. Sure enough, good stuff *kinda gets up and grooves*
I've been waiting for this to come out since october... so I was quick to scoop it up today, noting it was release date & I was in town!
looking forward to this release for some time... I bought it specifically for track 5. but I love the rest pretty dern much!
Happy birthday to me!! the word was: "I can't do anything like that again!" little did I know just what he actually already had up his sleeve, on his lap-top, in his bag of tricks... so to speak!
my meshugana... making music mixes, like you've never heard before! he really, truly outdid himself with this here project!
tracy is a pal I met thru piete & phronz... at fox! she's full of spunk, fun, wit, and musicals!
It always amazes me/blows me away... the strange similarities we two can have, all that while seemingly grinding at each other more oft than not...
I just got home to a lovely little pile of cds... the first actual/official submission/hand-in of the project! From none other than miss elizabeth herself!
these guys, are geniuses!
it may not be his final version, but it rocks my socks off!

A thing and it shall be established - Job 22:28
there's a whole website to explain the process... but, basically it's a smooshing (that's a technical term) together of different songs, hopefully preserving the same rhythm just adding an extra spunk to each...
A cd the Dews claimed we must pursue... later our leadership went down to Bethel [where it was made] and came home with a pile of copies [that quickly disappeared.] Now, if I could get myself off of just the very first song...
me: *shrug* "i don't know"
he: *giddy* "guess!"
me: "it's not a bag of green goodness... 'cause you couldn't've found it in my car"
he: *laughing* "no..."
me: "no clue... a pocket knife!?"
he: *feeling around pockets from outside* "probably, somewhere! but that' not what i'm thinking of..."
*they go round and around*
he: *finally gives in, unvelcro-ing one of the plethora of pockets on his pants, grinning even more giddily* "I just happened to have an extra one lying around"

I actually agreed, until recently I realized... *encouragingly* "No, well... it would have to be a whole different theme, but you could do it"
he agreed, *nodding* "yeah..."
love ya girl!
