Josh is one of those childhood connections. He lived at "the farm" [with his mom, Bill, and lil' sis Brie] way back in the day. Since then touch was lost... yet the wonders of the internet and cell phones have allowed us to hook back up again. (Plus, with Rache movin' so close to NYC we couldn't help but hook up like the gap never happened!)
