over at Aaron's "host house" for the summer...

Basically, Aaron was in desperate need/want of social interaction... so we all went out to fulfill that need!

after watching the orignal... it was definitely decided that a re-viewing [aka an experiencing in jonathan's room] was in order

after formal...

after much ado of what movie to watch... we finally settled on this comedic close-to-classic,

after a marathon of extended editions [I only really sat through half of Fellowship] ALF youth and others went to the final showing this evening.

the second time around was much better for me... I caught great amounts of things I hadn't seen before, it was only seemingly more intense, and I wasn't as butttired & u:ber heat-stroked by the atmosphere!

still very well done, but we'll have to see how I truly feel about it later today, after a second viewing...

beth popped in for most of the middle...
piete & phronz nabbed the end (for a bit of phronz day celebration!)

After seeing Tom's reaction to, "So how was the movie?" I'm not sure how the population at large may feel about it... However, once I noted, "Well, Canela said she liked it!?" I was sure I'd love it entirely... as he noted *complete change of expression* "Oh yeah, she thought it was great... laughed the entire time!"

Matt has read the book, and was really excited to see it on the big screen.
Original plans were for opening day, alas family, thanksgiving, and other things threw said plans for a loop. But we had great fun livin' it up in P-town post-church with mr.jj!

you'd think by now I wouldn't be so incredibly responsive to each and every joke... you'd think!

It's almost disconcerting to watch a flick in a theater... only to see it on dvd three weeks later...?

seriously, a great, classic film... will live on for generations!

I laughed... I yelled... Mathys looked my way and asked if I'd seen it before... I had to remind him whom it was has had addressed *blush* I thoroughly enjoyed this second viewing... hooray for owning the dvd!

so matt "got to have a jumping, crying, cold amancay next to" him... while I got to have a warm, grinning, hair tossing mathys next to me... it's was great fun!

I may have arrived late [pieter eagerly filled me in]... and mamaV was walking in & out, but it was good stuff (and I got to watch the opening scene later on!)

for the record: it said G in aprox. 8pt font, bold, with a box around it... the PG-13 was in 2pt, fine print with a woosy little line around it...

some really good lines...

we may have gotten there a tid bit late, but we guffawed with the best of 'em... and I even got free popcorn!

started out as a girl's thing... but as we were off to a late start...

Hans saw it at a midnight showing...while the rest of us [here in Hoody-ville] had to wait til this afternoon!
