Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
finally got around to actually watching this movie at the guys' house.
Andy & jj hauled jonathan's tv upstairs for a better viewing experience... and since I'm not allowed downstairs. Tor talked on the phone for nearly an hour and missed a bit much of the beginning, but made it for the majority!

It's been a while since I've watched what I consider to be a classy/classic film, that the entire world doesn't yet know by heart, amongst a great group of friends. It was fun to hear their reactions at various spots... excitement over fight scenes... laughing at me as I still jump 2 feet in the air everytime that dern cat jumps down on the table... much fun!
a great way to end a long day & at the same time inaugurate the movie madness at the house! ...tune out!

After seeing Tom's reaction to, "So how was the movie?" I'm not sure how the population at large may feel about it... However, once I noted, "Well, Canela said she liked it!?" I was sure I'd love it entirely... as he noted *complete change of expression* "Oh yeah, she thought it was great... laughed the entire time!"

So the boys had already seen it on their 'senior skip day', and given me the semi-shoulder shrug as to it's greatness. But, for miour final birthday event/celebration they were willing to sit through it again...
Honestly, who could resist the opportunity to see/hear me laugh & scream with giddy joy through such a movie!?
I thought it was great, awesome, the bomb! I'd run out and watch it again! Way fun, holiday cheer inducing, etc. ...tune out!
Timeline
Matt has read the book, and was really excited to see it on the big screen.
Original plans were for opening day, alas family, thanksgiving, and other things threw said plans for a loop. But we had great fun livin' it up in P-town post-church with mr.jj!

It was a good flick. A bit gory, what with actual hand-to-hand old-school combat, but good. Apparently the book was better... and more intricate in it's explanation o' the science behind it all!? ...tune out!
