forgive me if this is completely of disinterest for you...
but no one's up/on on a sunday morning... and thanks to an uninformed gentleman, I'm now wide awake... with no way of escaping into the blessed drifts that surround my house.
being on worship team this morning, my morning starts way earlier than one ever should on a sunday.
My alarm went off at 6am, I rolled over... scrolled through received calls to find the church's number. Called it, and someone actually answered!? Anywho, inquired as to what the plan was, I was told the parking lot was being plowed and all seem a go. So I made my way into my frigid bathroom to take a shower and begin the getting ready process.
Not even 15 minutes later I'd missed a call informing me services were canceled.
there's more where that came from...
now I was faced with the fact that I was (or my hair was) soaking wet... and I just was itching to get out in the piles of snow... and I do not even own a blowdryer. So, now over 2 hours later... I'm still waiting for my stupid friggin' hair to finish drying (I've been sitting right by the heater, in hopes it would speed up the process)
missed the sunrise... but the snow is STILL falling...
...enough already!

so... it's hailing... pelting against my window!
I thought it seemed rather dark outside, but sheesh!
there's more where that came from...

*happy sigh, giddily underneath a huge pile of comfy blankets* this weather is making me incredibly happy. I almost don't understand it!
I'm a huge summer fan, but this one let me down greatly in enjoyability factor (hard for me to fathom a summer sans swimming!) Then again, I love the spring; as thing begin to bloom... the brightness mixed with fresh showers! Winter is a wonderland; I often find my eagerly popping my head out the window, scoping for snow! And fall... back to school, beautiful leaves, colours, rains, the chill of wind.
there's more where that came from...
I like the idea of bundling up again. I've been rutted into the same ole, same ole since I hurt my pinky: a tank-top & an easy to manuver bottom of some sort (usually within a small spectrum of about 3 or 4 items.) I love scarves! Jonathan got me addicted to fleece. Layers are my friends. Socks can kick up the sassy style factor. And there's just something about walking in the rain, when you want to!
Meanwhile, inside, you get to snuggle up under cozy blankets, sip yummy tea & coffee guiltessly, read books, knit or crochet (you choose your craft!), contemplate life & it's meanings or purpose, wear fuzzy slippers, eat heartier food, and so much more! *tummy growls for creamy ice cream* (Ok so ice cream doesn't usually fit in all that explanation, but my tummy's always been rebelious when it comes to ice cream, plus Oma says you can always ave ice cream!)
I think I'm gonna snuggle up even more (to make up for the ice cream) and watch me some Fall-LineUp, or Lost dvd!
...enough already!
