I'm not psychotic!
*surely grinning* "You're psychotic!"
*huffing* "I'm not psychotic, I'm creative!"
He didn't quite catch on the the #s thing very quickly... (or maybe even at all [fully] until I reiterated it thoroughly) but he liked it, he really liked it!
I was, admittedly, worried he'd heeve-ho, and think it was dumb/silly & perhaps even a bother... but, yeah. He liked it *nodding happily*
there's more where that came from...
- HotWheels Mini-Cooper
- a pair of work gloves
- little bottles of bubbles (not realizing the #s thing yet, this was surely confusing/baffling... but one had to get creative when filling up 27 varieties. I didn't want it to be %100 edibles: bo-ring!)
- big jars of Pace Medium Salsa (*grin* they were extra large bonus buys... and his [only] pick[y fave]!)
- Incredibles plate
- travel-size Kleenex (he actually asked about these, I stammered a bit of response of, "to take with you, like in your lunchbox or even your glove compartment... just in case?!")
 - oz. of baker's chocolate for dipping (yum!)
- mini KitKat bars
- tea-light candles in a chocolatey/coffee/hazelnut-esque flavor
- mini BabeRuth bars
- Hebrews 11
- Brian & Jen Johnson's new cd
- individually wrapped bags of Stash Holiday Chai (only available in their Chai sampler, or from Stash direct... I had to scour my own stash & the shelves of every shop in the valley to conjure this bag *heavy sigh*)
- Orbit gum
- White Chocolate Reese's Peanutbutter Cups
- Laffy Taffy
- a box of '#17' Linguini & [bonus bag!] 17 episodes of Alias: Season 5 made available through NetFlix [2 discs at a time!]
- Stash Decaf Chocolate Hazelnut tea
- Menthol Ricola
- Tazo Mate Tropic
- 3 bags of Barbara's Jalapeño Cheese Puffs [7oz. each]
- Pink York Peppermint Patties (for Breast Cancer Awareness)
- a 23% tip at the restaurant of his choice [on the night of his choice] for a birthday dinner (he asks, "What if the service is really bad?"
I honestly quipped, "Then they'll be blessed!"
I think he just lightly laughed, I may have actually heard him shaking his head as well!)
- Lemon-Mint Ricola
- Armor-All Glass Wipes (I got some to try for my car & our road trip... and he exclaimed, after using one, "They really work!")
- Dulce de Leche Oreos
- HotWheels DropTop [#27]
...enough already!

It's in the bag[s]
er, well... mostly!
So I have a tendency to go, all out/overboard for birthdays. 'Cause when else do we get a patent excuse to lavish love on family & friends? If I can figure it out, and make it happen, totally my cup of tea.
there's more where that came from...
Unfortunately, Jonathan is sickly... With his birthday, his 27th birthday, on its way for Friday, things have to get better! He's spent the entirety of the week sans vocal ability. In fact, I called him last night; rambled all I needed to say/ask & promptly hung up, awaiting his text reply. How convoluted (yet oh so tech savvy) is that?
Total spiritual attack, that I'm rather "not ok" with! He had great plans & purpose in coming back from our trip this week, and continuing in the amazing place[s] God has put him. *makes growly snarl face at the devil* Not ok!
He's all snivvly, grumpy-pants, and understandably mute... I just want to see him smile, and enjoy a day!
So, meanwhile... I've been tackling the birthday project. Still a bit shy on some ends, but I believe it'll all come together (with some extra effort/work & prayers!) For now, I'm taking a break, sharing with y'alls, and hoping to get some sleepytime tonight! ...enough already!

crafty goodness
I sat down this evening, with some good ol' fashion sunday night tellyvision, and actually sorted through my box[es] of yarn. Mostly it was in prep for my next project, but it was in such unravelling & disarray... that it had to be done.
there's more where that came from...
Now, in an extreme example of my insane actual orderlyness, you may have a hard time imagining just how organized I got it. I took every-single ball out of there, re-rolling loose ends, and tucking to the best of my ability (the avoid further/future issue)... and eventually had batches seperated out of the same yarns. Racking my brain for a way to assure they would "stay together" (think one itsy bitsy teeny scrap bit & it's mondo mass mate!) vs. my inevitable need to constantly buy new yarn when tackling a "bigger" project... so stuff lasts & matches.
I decided on zipped baggies. I'd hoped to cram smaller balls into smaller bags... but didn't get som many of those in until the bitter end when I began major manipulation of it normal dimension. Mostly, I've got a nice (much more orderly) pile of big baggies of beautiful yarns.
Plus, I was able to clearly glean good scrap bits, and other 'perfect' threads for my coming peices. Woo Hoo!
Feels good.
Now, about those clothes *heavy sigh* ...enough already!
