Early-esque arrival at CreationNW 2007...
as I was traveling alone, with no one to answer to but myself, I got ready at my own pace... and left when I was truly ready. I made the drive without even a smidge of AC, so my timing couldn't have been any better!
Had a bit of an incident between Goldendale & Toppenish... that'll teach me to down a Carmel Macchiato so quickly!?
Had to pump my own gas in Ellensburg (possibly for the first time ever!?) in a fly-away skirt, recently washed curly hair, and insane Gorge winds. What a sight that must've been for the attendant!?
I pulled into my park&wait spot, and the truck in front of me quickly had two young men standing behind it, plunking away at a guitar. Der, I was all over it. Plunkered down in front of my car and joined in on the banter, music, and such. However, the desert night temps and consistent breeze quickly had me adding my jeans to my outfit. Yay for the return of the jeans & skirt combo/statement!
I think I took 20some shots to actually get this still/crisp enough... and properly framed. the GorillaPod was of little help, as I still would've been resting it upon myself.
And so begins a whole new experience at CreationNW...
