Imagine, if you may, you were stranded in an unknown city with absolutely no money or resources? How would you eat? Where would you sleep? Did you think about the weather?
I've certainly never been in such a dire situation, but I would like to think that I have enough street smarts and resourcefulness to survive such a fiasco. First things first, I'd most likely hit up local agencies to see what is available to me (food banks, random hospitality, shelter, and/or quick jobs.) Then I might even resort to bartering with a restaurant or service station... a bit of my hard work, in exchange for a hot meal or other amenities!
now, depending upon the weather, and the safety, a major priority for me would be finding a safe place to lay my head... or even just hole up for the night. I may even have to rely on my people skills, and simply sit back and trust the humanity of folks, to borrow a bed! I'm not sure how safe i feel simply tucking away in a park for the night, or finding a spot under a bridge. Perhaps it's my jaded perspective of folks after years working with various victims of crime. But I would hope that would simply be a last resort!
Ever wonder what you, or someone else would do in such a situation? Well, all this... and more, are about to happen to Michael Weston, a CIA Operative. Starting June 28th on USA Network's Burn Notice. Be sure to tune in to see how he handles it, and what else comes his way! How will he survive?
