"If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad" - 1 Corinthians 12:26 [whole section/context]
You know how you can have even the simplest sliver, a paper cut, a hangnail, a blister, a stubbed toe... you doctor it, you coddle it, you've given it all the care you can think of... yet you can't ignore it, you can't truly "move on". As day-to-day, moment-to-moment, it reminds you... the slightest little touch, movement, or glance... brings it all right back up to the surface, screaming at you, reminding you, you are far from whole.
I'm often astounded at how well our physical bodies demonstrate to us so much more about our lives...
Thank you, Lord, for that lesson...
Could Ya fix "my toe" already!?
