my lame attempt at a copycat of Meredtih_Farmer's walkaway...
lessons learned in the process:
- our tracks aren't nearly as reflective... in fact, the just plain aren't. (Meredith, did you shine yours first?)
- I have little to no balance, and I used to be able to do a cartwheel on a balance beam, what-the?
- for some reason it's cool/romantic to go hang out on a picnic table by the powerstation (not by the river, not even by the tracks... on the awkwardly placed picnic table)... and not at all intriguing to see a girl walk out of her car, to the tracks, set her camera on said tracks, and proceed to take a kajillion pictures of herself... and possibly talk to herself in the process!
- train tracks are greasy (my poor GorillaPod) even for that split-second when you forgot this obvious fact!
- it's easy to forget photographic intentions when their location is only blocks from your house... you may find yourself on auto-pilot, and have to turn around along the way!
- I want to try this UrbanAcid everyone is using/raving about!
- I need to "get out" more.
