"Flickr, it's what's for dinner!"
there's more where that came from...
I've had this "idea"/"concept" up my sleeve for a bit... I got the gummies (and enough for some other well-planned spellings as well) when we went to Build-A-Bear and the Sweet Factory was closing up shop! (somebody say clearance prices?)
the fact that it's actually International 'I Spy A Fork' Week makes it 10 times better!
...enough already!

I'm actually appalled... I have a pretty staunch sense of right & wrong, especially when it comes to business ethics.
I've watched, and at times longed to get in on the amazingness that is JPG magazine. However, some of the [self-elect] PowersThatBe thought they could just revmap, and in turn rewrite their companies history...
there's more where that came from...
I'm glad I never got greatly vested in the venture, but I'm proud to see the barrage of people (in the flickr community) making a stand and deleting their accounts. *checking to see if she has one*
I may not have had any of my pictures up & running, but I had an account for voting, and the possibility, etc. No more!
For a clearer, well written, perspective... I urge you to read co-founder Derek's words... and, as if that wasn't enough... the heartfelt response from Heather (who was lost in even more dust) is amazing to me... her words dig deep, and cut to the chase, she is obviously a very gracious woman... wow!
...enough already!

Now you can strut your stuff... and possibly win an actual date with a celebrity in the process!
Mirelly Taylor has made her fame in both movies (Kiss Me Again & Serving Sara) and television (including Las Vegas, Punk'd, and Numb3rs.) GoFish.com is running Seduce a Celeb over the next 14 weeks. Giving you ample opportunity to fine tune your own anecdotal submission! Meanwhile, don't forget to check out the hilarious Free videos at GoFish.com now!
This is an online first! Seduce a Celeb is completely online based... and the entire audience actually becomes part of the program through their participation, in the submission of user videos. Working with Emmy Award Winning Producer, Scott Sternberg, and Andrew Firestone from The Bachelor, gives this celebrity take on romance an extra spark we will all surely enjoy!
there's more where that came from...
I'm looking forward to weeding through the entries/videos and finding the select few I want to root for... maybe even some swoon-worthy material... and eventually hearing about the interestingness factor that really made the winner stand out from everyone else. Will they go out and have just fabulous fun? or will it be so insanely romantic that we should really just "leave the alone"? *giggle* There are so many possibilities at this point, it's hard to speculate... it's like The Bachelor meets YouTube! With user content reigning supreme!
Then my mind goes to who else out there could be the next subject for this project. Joshua Jackson? Seth Green? Tatum Channing? *sigh* any of them would work for me *wink*
...enough already!
