this lovely "prop"/yarn... is from Mrs. Miles. She nabbed it in a killer selection of clearance yarns at the craft store when we went into town on Monday (to take Jonathan's Aunt Anita to the airport, after the wedding.) On Tuesday, when Jonathan & I went over so he could show her the wedding pictures, she gave it to me, knowing how much I like/d it, and the color, especially... She's so wonderful!

In a sort of antiauction type movement, bid4prizes is actually awarding the "prizes" to the lowest unique bid... so not only do you have to be clever, but willing to set the "lowest" standard *giggle*
Sounds fun and exciting to me. I'm off to decide upon my bids for the sleek green Scion & the spiffy Apple iPhone. I'd love to win either one with only $11.77 *wink wink* I'd probably be the first on my block to bear either item... and we all know how much I love to be at the forefront of technology!

In the end it's more of a game than an auction. You make your "bid" and they tell you whether you are high, low, unique, or a duplicate! By using your mad mind skills, you could work your spot into a winning position... If you win all you pay is standard shipping costs & any applicable prize winning taxes.

I don't think people really realize all the free information they have at their access!
I often found myself explaining how simple it is to call up the National Domestic Violence Hotline in order to find local services... for anyone/anywhere. The same can be said for Sexual Assault, Drug Rehab, and even Dentists. Such services are especially helpful to the local agencies themselves... both in lightening the load when it comes to transferring a client or outside the area calls, and in getting people directed to them (especially for more private matters that folks don't want to talk to just anyone about!)

With an anonymous hotline to call, you don't have to be spreading your business about frivolously, especially in small towns, to find and receive the services you need! You can call a centralized information center that can guide you to who & where might best suit your specific situation!

Summer Loan... Happened So Fast!
I could come up with so many things to do with a nice loan this summer. First & foremost, I'd nab myself up the camera I've been longing for: a Canon 30D, along with the lenses I've come to love (a macro, and an IS zoom!) That way I can better capture/document all the fun ahead of me! Heck, while I'm at it... I might as well snap up the backpack & remote that are also a must have for my set-up!

We all know I'm not one to usually look into personal loans, but a girl an dream about setting up shop for her own summer photography [ad]venture, right? Next thing I'd do is book some flight/s to hit up a certain wedding in Georgia (in August), long-missed friends & family in the southern hemisphere, and possibly even random new flickr friends around the bend...
Being able to really invest into the endeavor, I'd like to look into the possibilities of capturing shots for sale (think magazines, newspapers, and other publishing possibilities) and acquiring work for hire... allowing me to quickly pay back any secured loans, as well as support a striving business!
*sigh* such are the dreams in my head at the moment, aside from the obvious/practical matter of paying off my silly medical debt! *looking at finger*
