We went up to Catherine Creek again today... (Jonathan has been up there every Saturday since our first trip, but he said he'd take me again) More walking/hiking than the first go 'round (does a body good) but plenty of the same ol' hover and take a kajillion pictures of this flower and that flower thrown in the mix.

I didn't take (or even try) as many pictures this time. I'm becoming more & more aware of my serious need/interest in an actual camera (vs. my little 4yo P&S.) Plus, my batteries don't last long anymore (just got that fixed with better batteries bought tonight on eBay, so coming soon!) and I can hardly compete with his work at present. So i was happy just to snap here and there, soak in the beauty of the Lord's Creation, and play photog assistant for the day (holding up wind barriers, switching out lenses from the bag, answering the inquiries of passers by, etc.)
