Father Knows Best!
Dad gave me this nifty device for Christmas. A little less than thrilled, I figured it was a good "useful" gift, coming from a father's heart. Woo hoo for daddies this morning when my dumb car decided it was dead!
I whipped it out, read over the instructions (apparently a bit too briefly) and started to "jump" my car all by myself!
I missed a button push, and had to wait an extra 15 minutes more than I should have. But, in the end, it worked as promised! I would've been pretty stuck otherwise, I live in less trampled parts of town, so it's not like someone was going to swing by anytime soon and rescue me otherwise.
If it had been a bit warmer outside, or I knew how to work the thing (so I could leave it and go inside meanwhile) that would've been nice too. So much for stopping for coffee on the way to work, needless to say... I was running a bit late!
