Snow has fallen, hardcore. So, this morning, as I got ready for work... I knew I'd have to head out earlier than usual to de-snow & warm up my frozen vehicle. As I walked out my door, and up the stairs around the house, I head fervent scraping.
My papa was there, at my house, scraping off my car! He wasn't sure how my road would be (plowed or not) & we were meeting to carpool. So there he was. I loaded my stuff for work in his car, got in mine, and turned it on (warming it up while he continued to clear the ice off of it!) We drove down to the make-shift park & ride across from the China Gorge, I parked, he drove us to The Dalles [work], it was nice!
there's more where that came from...
Then, tonight, after I did my swimming... and he did his spinning... we met up for a birthday dinner at 6th Street! Yummy to my tummy! Unbeknownst to us beforehand, it was 2-fer-Tuesday, so he scored on a cheap date! I brought home a pile & a half of their fries (I can never finish mine, and dad can't eat them on his restrictive diet) & we even got dessert [creme bruleé, although... ftr: North Oak does it better/best!]
...enough already!
