I've always had lofty thoughts of how exactly I'd prefer to have my house built, designed, decored, etc. Obviously this evolves through time, and will be greatly compromised once a surely opinionated man is added to my life. But for now, I'll continue to dream about possible extravagant home improvement projects.
Especially now that I've experienced the surround sound in JDM's room. I'm thoroughly convinced that a well planned Entertainment Room must be eventually attained.
A phatty widescreen super screen would be necessary, nice sound-proofing on the walls so as to assure no disturbance to anyone not participating in the experience, an angled floor with sufficiently comfortable (massaging?) sitting/lounging furniture for a small crowd, fading lighting so as not to kill the mood when some seeing is helpful, a soda fountain featuring the best of (DrPepper, MtDew, RootBeer, Fresca, ?), a full candy & popcorn bar, and the sweetest sound system one could ever imagine! Of course there would have to be one of those interactive fancy remote to control everything from one place (lights, sound, video, seats, etc.)
*sigh* such should be the life of a bonafide entertainer/movie buff!
