She's done... finally! (Ok, so I actually finished her up Sunday night... after a nice bout at the skirt in church!)
Today she was delivered to KnotAnotherHat for display & drumming up interest in the Crocheted Cutie class I'll be teaching in November. (sign up, you know you want to make your own amigurumi!) Sara & Yvonne seemed to give their approval... I'm honestly quite proud, especially under the circumstances! She turned out really cute, & I can only improve with each attempt, yes/no?
Now I really want to keep crocheting, but I have to remebmer to pace myself, and not get too far over my head. My right hand isn't quite ready for the constant strain of creating tension, and holding things in place. At the same time, perhaps the excersize is good for it, in moderation of course.
I really want to be well enough to pump out some fun/cute gifts for the October crowd... but I'm afraid that isn't going to be an option. I'll have to be otherwise creative in those gifting efforts this round, especially being also currently unemployed. Oyg... when it rains it pours! (But I just got a call from my dad with another [longer] temp position doing archiving/filing [what I did all summer despite the finger/lack-thereof] & other options are out there as well!)
For now, I go back to my internet perusing, some television watching (& quasi-ignoring) and other daily drabble.
*suddenly excited*
Oh, I can go get the mail! (maybe my new Adie cd will be here, or my mini-Moo cards!) & food is probably a good idea, too!
