Oyg! Admittedly, I'm a bit livid. Who does this guy think he is, making rash & unfounded statements about ppp bloggers & the entire theory/integrity of it's usage.
First off, I do disclose my PayPerPost affiliation, and denote the connection in each and every PPP entry. No tricks up sleeves here, baby! All up front (& I'm not talking faux mullet-ness either!)
Secondly, I head the interview in question, and even already blogged about it. The PPPBoysMen did a great job fielding a flow of obviously taunting questions, and [well] addressed all issues discussed. They represented their company, our company, in a great light by maintaining their cool/composure in the midst of adversity. Standing up for blog advertising & it's future implenmentations!
Finally, I love what PPP has done for me. I found it ealrier this summer, just as I was heading into unknown territory monetarily. I tested the waters a bit, trying out a few opportunites the were of major interest to me. Once I saw how it actually worked, started recieving payments, and getting my writing consistantly approved without issue; I began to focus more finely on the task at hand. I started the discipline of finding at least one opportunity a day that I could really sink my teeth into. This allowed me a more steady stream in extra income, as well as broadening my writing abilites, not to mention showing me some new & fun things around the net I may not have otherwise seen!
You see, I take pride in my work, my writings, my blog, and my website. In fact, I take pride in everything I create, be it amigurumi, photography, a painting, soup & sandwiches, or a simple housewarming. I do things I do with purpose, not haphazardly. The idea of someone acussing me of creating vile spam, or being involved with slimebuckets rides me the wrong way...
Plus, it's just not the right way to get their point across. When you resort of name-calling you only end up making yourself look as bad as you hope to make the others look! I wish them the best-of-"luck" in their pursuits, and hope they don't get wiped out of the blogosphere by all us up&coming writers they so loathe for no apparent reason!
I, will continue to write about what I want to, possibly getting paid for it, and enjoying every step of the way!
