Unfortunately, there are people out there willing to take you for all they possibly can. How do you avoid this? we ask. Well, when it comes to mortgages, there's help/information to best protect yourself from vulnerabilities!
First & foremost, do your best to truly understand a home loan. Second, read the fine print! (I'll be the first to admit, I often sign my name away without a huge regard to the miniscule words preceeding my signature. However, I know when to sit down and properly read/skim over information to assure myself I'm not being had!)
Check out a mortgage broker that has a policy to protect client data, adhering to FTC, DoNotCall, & CanSpam regulations... It takes a bit for my to build trust, especially with a company 'holding onto' my possessions. A little research is always appropriate for fraud protection & such!
