Realtors Share Their Bacon

In a shocking move for the Austin real estate market. A brokerage is offering 1.5% rebates to anyone who buys a home with them. Standing on the understanding that realtors are generally overpriced, they are trying to change the old fashioned system into something more affordable for the masses. Works for me!

Now if they could get that paradigm shift to hit this area!

back to basics

I almost forgot, I have an[other] interview for friday.

Bad news is, Sara & I had just made plans to catch-up during her trip into Ptown for school, alas I'll have to skip out on that in order to maintain the scheduling for the interview... *pouty lip* I'l honestly be a bit bothered if I come to find out the job isn't for me! I don't like missing out on time with my Sara!

Anywho, back to the interview. This would be another temporary position. Seemingly through April!? Doing lots of the same sort of archival stuffs I did most this summer, now for the state! Strangely enough, the methodicalness of it all is appealing to me. Not to mention the idea of a steady check in the mail for some many months! Plus once I get in the groove of things, I really treasured my ipod/podcast/music time!

pure poker strategy

Essential to the greater good of your game, is the simple understanding of poker rules. Be your knowledge for use at big fancy money tables in Vegas, or for family fun night with big jars of pennies... Knowing the difference between Texas Hold'Em & 5 Card Stud is muy importante! That, and a basic idea of the value/chronology of each hand.

I may not be big on gambling, but I understand the value of good old fashioned fun. It's all about balance folks. So set yourself some limits, brush up on your skills, and hit the tables. Or, better yet, dust of the card table, make some appetizers, invite over some friends, and start a game night exchanging coins, small tokens, or just really good stories!
