I love watching Survivor with Mrs. Shear. She lets me pause, and rant & rave as often as I want. Well, almost... sometimes she threatens to take the remote away from me, but that's a whole different story! ;)

Tonight the tribes were really starting to find their feel. Making their marks, and settling into seemed personas. Two completely/very different groups of folks, each interesting in their own way/s. I'll admit I'm rooting more for one side than the other at present... and tend to waffle about as each episode plays out before me. Until a final switch is made in my brain that has me rooting for one sole survivor, HC to the end!

I shouldn't be surprised... yet I still am. People just don't get it. Protesting the president, publically, what do they hope to accomplish? Further creating chaos in our own country? or driving an even deeper line among us, making "sides" a necessity & a fear factor for those who might have hopes along each edge?

According to the news (breaking in just now) signs say things to the extent of 'Bush compares to Hitler', 'worse than Nixon', etc. 6-7 folks have already been arrested. Most are the younger, possibly college-aged demographic. Traffic is stopped all around the downtown area.

As I was driving uptown just now, I suddenly realized that I didn't go to Women's Bible Study this morning. I'm guessing the migraine threw me for a loop, as it honestly slipped my mind, or I would have prepared/planned for it!

Instead I was simply mulling about my morning, trying to catch up with my little sister for breakfast possibly, handing in an application for more temporary work, and heading to a freind's to borrow her dvr & catch up on some telly-vision. I'm still a bit woozy, so it's probably best that I'm not trying to focus too intensely on anything anyway, let alone hearing the masses of a kajillion women all talking at once!
