Estelle continues her travels... visiting and featuring Zion National Park. A nation natural treasure, with vast canyons, beautiful colors, and a glorious feel.
I visited Zion, long ago (I think I was in highschool, maybe even just middle school!) on a road trip with my father & visiting grandparents. Among the myriad of "visual" places we visited, this is the one that had always stuck out to me. I can almost close my eyes and see it now!
I don't believe I was a christian at the time, but the mere beauty of it all struck me, deep to the core... His Hand was obvious to me, even then, although I couldn't put my finger on it. Unfortunately, I was simply along for the ride. So we did a lot of getting in & out of the car, while I would have much rather liked to have sat & basked longer at each stop. I remember being greatly inspired to journal, and write lots in those days...
