Now that I've set-up for the installation of the coveted satellite system, I thought I'd see what others have to say around the internet about Dish Network or Direct TV. There's certainly plenty to be said for each one, its pros cons, etc. From equipment & channel offerings to prices & customer service, there's much to debate & weigh when making your choice.

After reading though the many comparrisons, seeing current offerings from both companies, and more.. (all at KaptainSatellite) I'm happy to say I'm even more assured in my decision: the channels that are deal breakers for me are available in a cheaper option, the equipment is über preferable (I'm not a big tivo [brand] fan... it has too many quirks I can't get past! plus who can pass up a dual reciever!?), and I got a pretty sweet deal monetarily!
