Spent the afternoon at my mom's (with some other family & friends) doing what I could to aide in the chorizo making/packing process. Basically I got to watch people grind meat, mix it up with their bare hands (mmm!), and pack it into the casing. My job was to write the weight & type (turkey, hot, or not) on the freezer bags.
After all 60lbs was done, we got some on the grill, pulled out salads, and had a choripaneada. Good food, my tummy was waiting for all day!
