tech support
Arg!
I find this strange confusion within myself when it comes to my 'tech support' availability to others. One piece of me likes to ability to be helpful, show my smarts, and tackle a confusing case. The other part of me, can get greatly frustrated when I feel like perhaps people figure I obviously have nothing better to do than spend the next hour and a half walking them through something (online and/or over the phone.) *trying to breathe*
I thrive on human interaction, but when my own agenda is interupted for purely fix-it need... I honestly wonder if I'd even be getting this interaction otherwise. Were you going to actually talk to me this evening? Did you say to yourself, 'I wonder how Amancay is doing? I should give her a chatty call!' My guess: probably not!
there's more where that came from...
Then I step back, and say... you know what? What is more important? My time to myself... for whatever meaningless things I might have prospectively planned for the hour? or my investment into relationship, serving, and just being there for someone? I'm humbled by my own gurgling selfishness... what's that about? So not how I like to function, not what I stand for.
So... if you have confusing tech needs, I'm your geek. VCR programming, DVR setting, IM icons, internet confusion, cell phone synching, and anything else you can toss my way. I don't turn my phone off... so, Bring it on! Sure beats the midnight calls I used to get.
And, um... I'm sorry if I've ever given your the brush off because my percieved notion of importance was askew. My bad... call me on it! I'll be trying...
*begins the process all over again* ...enough already!

reading up!
Today I was thinking about my readership [or perceived lack-there-of, could you lurkers at least comment every now & then so I don't feel so alone!?] & general website traffic. I began to wonder exactly what I could or should do about that. Enter an interesting article on that very subject... (talk about His Sovereign Hand!)
there's more where that came from...
It's interesting to me to see which sites ended up in varying places in the ordered list. Admittedly, I find myself surprised at the results. But, it's refreshing to see a non-biased perspective, assuring a fair representation for everyone!
With a clear explanation of the methodology determining who got what ranking, only makes me feel even more confident in the findings. Honestly, I would have had little insight into which would be bbest, or even why. I'd be left playing a guessing game, trying to blance out biased site-based information.
I especially liked the thought that many of these sites will allow you to submit your information without a payout (granted you are wiling to wait months for review!?) A fact I was otherwise unaware of, but may take to heart in the beginning mettling process.
If you find yourself asking questions about submitting your site to directories, read the article! ...enough already!

contrast soaks
*rolling eyes while muttering growls under her breath*
after my lovely visit to Nola [the physical therapist or "torturer" as some might otherwise refer to her as] yesterday, I was instructed to begin a lovely regimen of contrast soaking. Twice a day I get to gather two tubs of water, one cold - one hot. Then I proceed to soak my hand, back and forth between them, for nearly a half an hour. Finally I then have to elevate my hand and massage what's left of it, down & out towards the arm/elbow. All this in hopes of decreasing the insane amount of sweeling that is still going on.
there's more where that came from...
All of this is supposed to happen, as well as a myriad of stretches, massage, and excersizes!? Oyg, makes my womped just thinking about it! I just want my finger, my hand, my arm, and my strength back!
Ftr: Nola really is awesome! Poor woman has seen myself, Elizabeth, & Michael in the last month.. what she must think of us! It's probably hard to be the one inflicting pain, creating nagging homework, and seeing all the insanity that is our hands!
*off to gather soaks* ...enough already!

ski bunny
It's that time of year again! Skiers (ok, and snowboarders) are keeping their eyes out & their fingers crossed at the perspective of a snowy season. Praying that they'll get plenty of fun in their runs, throughout the winter! Whether you are prepping for Hood, or heading to The Chamonix Valley... may this year be white, and wonderful for all to properly enjoy!

geeked-out by God
wow! talk about things happening. An intense shift has occured in the atmosphere. Around me, around others, it's everywhere! I was just trying to explain to a friend how it is (and they are) contagious. Who isn't moved/inspired by someone sharing new-found joy & treasures in Christ!? Hard to sit back and go, 'yeah.. well, but... really life womps, so could you come back down please?' Nope, not happening! At least not for me.
there's more where that came from...
Right now I'm simply basking in the awe & wonder of pure answer/s to prayer... some immediate, and some long-time coming. But all flowing so freely right now. Seriously, He's dotting is & crossing ts. I kid you not, providing exactly what I've been praying into. It's so awesome to see fruit blossoming, growing, ripening, and dripping sweet fresh juices, right before my very eyes! *deep breath*
Face it, He's the bomb, and only in Him is there freedom, power, peace, and everything else you could ever want! ...enough already!

mobile options
I recently got myself an upgrade in the cell phone department. I bit the bullet mostly due to the injury, and wanting to get my hands on something to easily snap pictures with... even if just for a short while. I landed on the Samsung T509, knowing Andy loves his, despite my lack of other knowledge or experience with Samsung mobile phones.
there's more where that came from...
The T509 does the trick for me right now... non-flip, camera ready, and a pretty slim style at that! There are plenty of other options within the Samsung line, available at The Link. With approx. 40 to choose from, you can certainly find just the right fit & service provider, for your needs. They've got sliders, flip-models, camera phones, service contracts & even pay-as-you-go variants!

distraction
I can't quite put my finger on it, but I've been sitting here, far from productive by mine own standards. *growl* it's not even like anything in particular is racking my brain. Nope, just can't focus!
