I've been seriously lokking into digital SLRs, reading through digital camera reviews, checking out price & feature comparrisons. Trying desperately to come up with a concrete camera to go for. I know my own personal purchase is far, far, away... but a good friend/fellow photographer is possibly in the market. I told him I'd stick my nose to it in the search. It's always good to read all the reviews & info you can on a product before making a big purchase... i like to be well read & informed.
Let's take a quick look into this new phenom of VoIP. I, personally, have wanted to give it a try (vs. a landline) mostly due to the insane bases costs of having a phone in the home. Plus, I'd like to better (more cost efficiently) be able to connect with my family & friends in Argentina.
I know that my brother & sister-in-law have VoIP for their home phone. My current [temporary] job is also using VoIP to more efficiently connect their offices in two different cites. This lowers their overall costs, saving on the long-distance charges simply between offices!
With people scattered all over the country & beyond. The simplicity of a phone connected through the computer, or even just the built-in mic & speakers, can become amazing tools for maintaining relationships, clear communicating, and closing the gaps between us.
Bree has often captivated me with her Proving Science Wrong bits. Entertaining, enlightening, and certainly provoking much thought! But this, takes the cake.
In light of Pluto's recent [sad] demotion/demise... I present lonelygirl15 in a rivetting 'Ode to Pluto'
you gotta admit, the parallels are highly intelligent... her honesty & rawness just eat at my heart. Makes me want to break out the cam again. You go girl!
Flowers are a pretty sure 'get a smile on her face' move with me. It happens so rarely that I'm always surprised, flattered, and just near gushing at the mere thought!
I love giving flowers away, even more! SerenataFlowers have amazing options for sending in the UK, complete with a handy-dandy "Help Me Choose" button, you can get suggestions tailored specifically to your needs/the occassion!
I stumbled out of Sunday School... looking around for adult conversation & company, and happened upon Lynette talking with another young lady looking awfully close to our age range. Before I knew it Lynette was off to the bathroom, & I was left in charge of deciding on food. Once she returned we settled on mexican, The Taqueria to be more specific, and we were on our way.
I let Meghann follow me (unfamiliar with the area, she is) & made my way to a nice pull in parking spot (who wants to try to parallel park with one hand!?)
We, three, shared a great meal... and fought for speaking time, each trying to stick close enough to tangents to find our way back to the original conversation. It's nice to catch up with fun folks and plant small seeds of freind & fellowship for the time/s to come.
