wear your seatbelts
did I mention? I'm driving again!
slowly. that's for dang sure! and ever so awkwardly at that. *growl* but other than blessed carpooling & gracious efforts by others to appease the situation, I'm not so stuck. I just move in sloth-like ways, inside a sad Subaru that misses rippin' 'round corners with such [two-hands necessary] ease!
there's more where that came from...
In other hand news, no more splint (unless perchance I'm going hiking or moshing in the nearer future, only one being very likely) stifling. which is, at times, in fact misleading. the pain level has only seemed to increase... daily! tears still form throughout most excersizes until flexibilty is regained 'round about early afternoon. my faith in the future not-so-swollen version of my hands is waning... so *singing, pleading* have a little faith for me!? ...enough already!

PT in NYC
What with making up for my lame pinky/hand/arm, my back has gotten twisted towards new levels of 'messed up!' You know, stuff only a good chiropractor should lay hands on. Now, if I could just connjure a way to get into Physical therapy in New York (hand, arm, back... I've got plenty of reason/s! Plus I could use the travel excuse!

must make [book]marks!
Beth mentioned to me that she too misses/noticed the lack o' blogrolls, links, etc in my side bar. which then lead to the ever entertaining conversation where we all shared the insanely random ways we go about getting to various blogs when away from our home computers!
So I'm thinking I need to come up with some sort of bookmarks page. Even if it's just a wompy visual, but gets the links there... static. Showcase some hidden local talent (like Andy's college blog,) blogs I read, and otherrandom sites i can't live without... it'll be in the works folks, just don't go turnin' blue on me now!

EnigmaSearch
Google has always been my fave search engine, but nowadays more and more search engines are doing the job... and giving you perks & fun along the way.

spiritual meltdown
so what do you say to a friend who just doesn't know what to say themselves, isn't sure what they are feeling, or even really doesn't know who they are? words don't really work. at least not the ones that come from my brain. only HolySpirit inspiration can hold a candle to such serious matters. no amount of mental preparation can cover the need!

... and so we sit, surely muttering silent-esque prayers, and just trying to hear, love, and grasp for understanding/s. maybe making an appearance, taking the time, & offering a sincere prescence is all that's needed/can be offered at the moment. that, and buckets of intercessory prayers!? ...enough already!

Edmund Scientific
Edmund Scientific has some super fun stuff (ok, so maybe it falls into the science geek category, but I'm at one with that!) I can't wait to get my hands on their products & tell you all about it!

The Solar Outdoor Security Light w/Motion Detector would come in handy, especially in my neck of the [literal] woods... as a women, alone! A Logitech io Digital Pen would be amazing, writing, drawing, and digitally capturing like mad... taking my creativity/productivity to a whole new level! Make Your Own Gross Soap fits in with my craftiness, soap loving, and would be a great project to just get down & dirty with. I could kick it up a notch ala Emerril with Some Like It Hot! Make Your Own Hot Sauce. I already have UberOrbs, they've served a great distraction purpose for me, especialy in stressful times *suddenly unsure where they last ended up, off to track them down* Oh the things I could catch with the Wireless Color Spy Camera w/Audio. I think I remember seeing Rush Hour in a RealWorld/RoadRules Challenge. There are so many fascinating items, I don't know where to begin! ...enough already!

Christians doing stupid things
I already got on my soapbox about the insanity that drives the Westboro Baptist Church (more like "church with a capital lower-case c!") However, in light of their recent visit (*feigns trembling* ooo, all 3 or 4 of them that showed!) to Hood River, with the purpose of protesting/USA-bashing at a Navy Seal's memorial service, I'd like to share a very well done newscast on the subject: Peaceful Defenders Louder Than Unwelcome Hate Group
there's more where that came from...
You really should check out the video. Not only is it well done, but they covered the issue very well, including the reassurance that this is not typical (let alone acceptable) christian behavior. Not to mention how mind-blowing it is to actually see & hear this woman in action. No concept, whatsoever of the Jesus I know & love... none at all! ...enough already!
