it could happen to you
For those of you that don't remember, I actually got my free ipod (the quasi-hard way!) GulfStream Internet Group is now giving them away!
That's right, no fill out this, subscribe to that, buy some, sell some, etc. Just giving away an iPod a day.
So go ahead, Get a Free iPod from iPodSweepstakes.com Now

this has been a get up off your bum & participate, meta, payperpost entry
small things, great power
it's amazing to me the huge power/impact the smallest act/thing can do. when you sit back, relax, let God humble you (as He molds, presses, & pushes you), & move... albeit subtley, accordingly!
there's more where that came from...
& I thought I'd just get those 'long-term', way down the road, gotta walk by faith, kind of results. But, instead I got the warmest affirmation I've experienced in a long time. Direct appreciation, and encouragement all packaged up (in pretty words) just for me *coy smile*
I'm tellin' ya, God's good... all the time! ...enough already!

this has been a god, serious life entry
make it maui!
Remember the luscious wedding I came up with? *nodding* Let's up the ante, and just go ahead and get married in Maui
there's more where that came from...
*sigh* someday... I'll be that beautiful, skinny-minnie, gettin' hitched (or honeymooning) on a beach! ...enough already!

this has been a dream-building, payperpost, vacation/travel entry
hello & goodbye, again
once again, just as I get close[r]... tight... right with a friend, they are packing up (or trying to figure out how to) to head out [of town.] *pouty lip*
*shrug* I ought to be used to it by now, I'm just tired of forging new friendships... digging for the depths necessary to get to the luxurious point where you get to be real, raw, and have at least a semblance of history with someone.
there's more where that came from...
*sigh* at least we all have the internet, the wonder of cell phones, and other great technology advances that can keep us connected!
I hope to go and be 'helpful' tomorrow in some of the insanity that is packing up your life, from one state to another! ...enough already!

this has been a friends, woe is me entry
take me down to Panama City
Destination travel is a growing dream for me. Now, with the help of the internet, you have at your fingertips a wealth of knowledge and insight into almost anywhere you would like to go. Opening up some otherwise mysterious locations.
there's more where that came from...
Imagine: Panama City, Panama. It's closer to the equator... so it's surely warm! A bustling place near the revolutionary canal. A different way of business, life, love & culture, not to mention the language *sigh*.
Perhaps I'm more prone to this sort of location because I can speak the language & my heart calls out to find out more about the intricate cultures of most of southern America. There's just something about being able to truly communicate with people, at their level, in their own language, that cannot be matched with pocket translators, tour guide/interpretors, etc. And it is with the people, true locals, that you can get a true appreciation for the wonder of a place. They can open your eyes to things & places you may not otherwise be priviledged to see/experience!
Maybe it is because a dear friend has been there in the more recent past, and is presently not far from there himself. Torsten & his family made a stint out to the Canal a year ago (or so). they had oodles of amazing stories to share. From the intricacies of walking across the border/through customs, to divine encounters with locals & other travelers in and around the city... they certainly painted an intriguing portrait of the place.
Mostly, just looking at the beautiful pictures & watching the adventures in Estelle's travel video make me want to fly away! If Icould look as beautiful as her, fly off to various exotic locations, and tell others all about it for their enlightenment/encouragement. I'd do so in a red hot minute!
You can find out all about Panama City, Panama & much more, online... at Estelle.tv. She may be a supermodel, but she's got a videocast covering great travel destinations, accompanied by a wealth of information regarding each one. A beautiful way to look into places, and get an idea of what to expect, where to go, and certainly things you don't want to miss out on while you are there! ...enough already!

back to the grindstone
oh man... I'm just not ready for today to be tuesday (aka "Monday" for a holiday week)
My weekend was too fun, too nice, too short for my preparedness to be back up & at 'em this [not so] bright & early.
gah! gotta decide on a frozen meal for lunch and prep a thermos of caffeinated som'n or I'm liable to snooze at the desk/pile of paperwork to file!
there's more where that came from...
