that voodoo that you do
Podcasts, podcasts, podcasts... they're all I've been talking about lately! (happens when I finally get to sit down & catch up on them.) Well, MindComet has a marketing podcast that I've been checking out. Talking with some big-wigs from various innovative [internet] companies, giving insight into this quickly devolping world. Hosted by our very own Ted Murphy, I'm hooked.
*listening*
there's more where that came from...
I especially enjoyed the introduction of TurnHere.com, they've got a great concept. Plus the interview covered a broad scope of the possibilities they can soon offer, and answered questions for other users in the industry as well! Who would have known, years ago, that our attention spans would be so narrowed at this rate (from 30min down to only 90sec...) Time, is of the essence, makes sense!
*subscribed via itunes, currently downloading all 28 episodes*
I hope they can get in to interview with folks at flickr &/or YouTube. Like it or not, these sights are getting big in the industry. They may be deemed for personal use, etc. But they deal greatly with many markets & are revolutionizing they way the internet works... so here's to hoping! ...enough already!

I've been used!
slighty bored, I decided to try self-googling [again] to see if anyone out there was using any of my flickr'd images... and, voila! jackpot.

certainly not quite the shot I'd ever've thought would create interest or fame... but you take flattery where you canget it in the beginnings, right!? ...enough already!

water sports
I didn't get to truly swim this year, so my water adventures were well curtailed this summer! *pouty face* If only I'd had a boat... an Aquasport? I could've at least gotten out on the water more oft, enjoying the sights, smells, and gentle breeze mixed with splashing water! *sigh* Such is life.
there's more where that came from...
At least I don't have to deal with the whole boat restoration ordeal that can come after surviving an intense winter in these parts... not to mention accidents. Oyg! I seen it truly tear a couple apart. ...enough already!

pinky plateau
I'm admittedly having a really hard time with this whole pinky thing. Oddly enough, my eventual ride yesterday morning hit the nail on the head. She noted how difficult it must be to have my 'independence' ripped away so drastically. I guess I've always known that was a huge piece of it, but never really put it into words.
there's more where that came from...
This morning I was trying to steadfastly cycle through all my excersizes, only to find myself newly frustrated in that sometimes it seems like each new day is starting all over again. //the massaging scar tissue goes no where, the finger and hand contnue to sweel and pouff *growl*. That's the problem with paying 100% out-of-pocket. So, not only am I greatly indebted to many medical institutions... but I can't just go see the PT regularly and let her work me into a pained frenzy. Nope, I've got to find the inspiraion & discipline to do it all myself!
I've said it before, but I just want to wake up with it all better!
*off to stretch, bend, flex, relax, massage, and probably cry*
...enough already!

whiney waffles
I slept amazngly well last night. Thank you Jesus! Completely crashing soon after Beth left. I even woke up, checked the time in my coziness, did some hand stretching in the warm blanketedness, and continued to snooze. *smile*
Saturdays are meant to be like this.
there's more where that came from...
Once I finally half-rolled out of sleep mode, I turned on the adventures that are saturday morning television (you know DiscoveryKids & Disney Channel showngs on local network channels!) Once commercials got their rotation I knew what I wanted to eat: waffles, toaster waffles. So I picked my poison (Buttermilk vs. Homestyle) and proceeded to track down the syrup knew had to be somewhere in my cupboards. I seriously almost gave up, but it was eventually discovered, hiding behind other unrelated items!
The true challenge came in the peanutbutter stirring (I insist on PB on my waffles, as well as insisting upon only Adam's real PB.) My right hand couldn't quite grip the jar ebough to stablize it amidst my stirring attempts. Then there was the cutting of the over-crisped waffles. Since I typically try to continue my lazing about by eating on the bed/couch, I figured I should at least check the ease of cutting bites out before settling. Good idea missy, 'cause it was nearly impossible with a knife & one hand, even on a steady surface. Exhausting most my energy, it was finally in edible sized chunks. Popped it in the microwave to reheat (by this time it wasn't so warm anymore) for a few seconds... and had a yummy breakfast/brunch in bed with guilty-pleasureesque tv.
Now I'm sipping tea & starting my blogging day... watch out! *wink* ...enough already!
