Summer is lovely, but it's been cruel to me this go'round (I didn't even get to swim!) So, I choose to look forward to the crisp fall breezes, white winter snow, and sparkley spring showers! All beautiful times to snuggle up with a great book & a hot cup of som'n, watching the weather unveil itself from the possible protection of a window.

Add to that a fireplace and I'm in heaven! But a wood fireplace is way too much hassle for a single gal like me. I'd rather have me a gas fireplace.
My landlord is here for some days. They offered to work on any fix it list... and investigate some better options for heating this winter. If only I could get them to go for a gas fireplace, not that I've got the room for one in this cozy place... but it would certainly make the difference in the freezing months!
