Wow, I didn't realize that buyertools has freeware (you don't have to pay anything, and it's not just a simpleton's demo version!) for all your ebay sniping needs.
Sniping is the term used for watching, and then jumping in on an auction at the very last moment, usually assuring yourself a lower winning bid. This freeware has an
automatic eBay bidder that you can set up to bid for you at a predetermined time (right up to the very last second before your desired aution ends!)
Jonathan taught me, long ago, that habit of putting notes in my phone to remind me to check & possibly bid on watched auctions. But with this freeware that could/should very well be unecessary.
Here's a screen shot of the product at work!

Did I mention that it can be set-up to send a free text message to your phone as auction reminders? That way even though it's doing all the work for you, you know what's going on & when. Plus it's easy to set-up; importing either your open windows (in iE) or dierectly working with your "my eBay." You can run it using multiple accounts (great for roommates, shared living, or large family situations!) So everyone gets to get in on the fun.
Best of all, this freeware is freeware indeed, it contains no ads, no popups, and most importantly: no spyware is involved in the software (a genuine concern with many freeware type offerings of this sort.)
I don't know about you, but I'm sold.
