make your move
 my dad once told me (the first time I moved, in fact), "Real freinds help you move!" I quickly took that to heart truly appreciating all the helping hands and hearts that were sure to [at least try to] be around throughout my moving. From packing, planning, searching, researching, loading, unloading, and even unpacking; there have been so many true friends & family loving me through the process with their presence & actions!

I think I found myself a new friend for the next venture (not that I'm to have to move anytime in the near future; been there, done that!) Moving.bz, an awesome Self Storage Directory helping hook you up with storage units all over the country (so it doesn't matter where you are going!) You can get quotes from various places, without having to head there yourself! Plus connect up with moving vans, and all sorts of other moving & storage needs... lights out
After spending the greater part on an hour stumbling through work, only to keep getting booted by the system (come to find out the tech guy was messin' since everyone esle was supposed to be in a training!) things finally came together. i was getting into the groove, a solid 15-20 miuntes of real work had gone by... and *cue techy-dying sounds now* everything (except my trusty ipod) went dead: lights, computer, copiers, etc.

It turned into a treacherous afternoon; trying to handle the phone system (on a back-up battery, but not really working to even half it's potential), not really being able to do much of anything work-wise, and explaining to baffled clients that the evening's group was cancelled.
Apparentally there was a wretched accident up around the Rental Center, cutting out power (by way of a pole or a transformer) to the greater part of uptown. Note: this includes Jonathan's [new] home... so his original plans for the night were vetoed (not to mention the fact his invite was sickly!)

 As my hand begins it's own healing process, I'm getting more and more anxious to get in there and get crafting again. Sewing (with my new machine,) crocheting, painting, something!
Throw a JoAnn.com coupon code (or two) at me, and I can't help but peruse the possibilities: fabric, yarn, clearance, oh my!

He heals!
yeah, so... um. hmm.
God is good, all the time! *mostly without proper words at the moment*
Get this, He completely pulled a miraculous healing on Jonathan's back tonight. Just now, He healed a man who couldn't even whole-heartedly laugh throughout the movie. He healed a man who could barely sit still, let alone comfortably, due to the pain. As we prayed, He re-aligned whatever the whatevers in his back that were kerjumbled. In fact, mid-prayers boy "jumps" up from his spot, goes to the other room and starts doin' stretches & crunches, all jazzed that he can move!

wine tastings
 Wine intrigues me. The varieties, the flavors, the culture, & the kick! Here, locally, we have plenty of vineyards... each offering tastings, tours, directs sales, etc. Yet I've gone to less than a few events!

Now, LocalWineEvents.com has a Wine and Food events calendar covering events all over the place, & sorted by city/area! I may have to sign up/keep up on closer events & check out some more about this beverage!
I'm not sure why more Hood River vineyards & events aren't listed, as they can be added for free (from a business' perspective, an awesome deal!) Hopefully, they'll catch on soon! ...enough already! scribbled by manky @ 13:07:21
