educated decisions
I wonder if Michael perused The New TV Guide before jumping into his recent purchase. Somehow I doubt it, but I'd feel a little better about the flat screen purchase if I knew it had some research, information gathered, not just a whimsical want, backing it up!
there's more where that came from...
If you want to know what you're in for, scope the scene, get some sweet insight... The New TV Guide is very well layed out, for all your home cinema system needs or inquiries!
Man! Flat Screens, 5.1 stereos, you'ld think we were all film fanatics or som'n... *sigh*
honestly, I'm off to peruse the guide, it's pretty vast-looking! ...enough already!

I know, I know... all I can seem to talk about of late are podcasts. Get a life, already!
But, seriously, if you were doin' what I'm doin' all day every day at work. You'ld be doin' whatever you could to stay awake, alive & kicking. In fact a coworker was tasked to jump in and dabble today in a bit of my project. By mid afternoon I came across a very confused/almost defeated face, she simply stated, "I don't know how you can do this day in, day out; I think I'd go mad!" *sigh* It's not just me!
there's more where that came from...
So, the podcast(s): I was just gonna skip over to random [shuffle] music, when the next DirtyLittleSecrets featured a special guest representin' the God Hates Fags group (aka Westboro Baptist Church.)
Curiosity got the best of me. You see, they were here: in the Hood, for Marc Lee's memorial service *makes incredulous look* because "God is punishing America/killing soldiers, because we are letting fags run the world!"?
Don't even get me started. I shouldn't have sat and tried to listen to such a blood boiling, response stirring episode in mixed company. I had my little headphones on, in the back, all by myself. I kept catching myself talking back, out loud. Praise God I somehow said things quietly, but still... how do I explain away murmured, "He loves everybody"s & "Are you insane?"s? Yeah, that!
Chris & Mike handled the rep as well as could be expected, and show much love and respect to a woman who hardly earned the treatment. It's always amusing to me to 'watch' people unravel their own point & purpose with their words, actions, and mere stupidity! It's sad really... sad!
*waiting for Jonathan to make the given musical reference* ...enough already!

perfect fit
Ah yes, it haunts me! The ever ellusive One Touch Can Opener, what I wouldn't give for one of these right now! Simply, and easily (not to mention: one-handedly) pop open a can of beans for chip dippin', or tastey soup on the more random cool hazy day.
there's more where that came from...
Plus, it'll remove the tops without the icky jagged edge I'm prone to reinjuring myself with! Saving us all the extra issues in the long run. Now, you can nab one online for less than the television offer. Makes the deal all the more tempting! *looks at her 'currently' unusable hand* It's ingeniuos I'm telling you, ingeniuos! ...enough already!

Honey, I'm home!
So... where was I? Ah, yes: Off to familiar stomping grounds to re-evaluate a Camry.
Little did I know we were headed towards known ground, so I called the lot to get quasi-directions from the land we were in. Driving back to 84, & down past JDM's old stomping grounds, we found ourselves on McLoughlin (right around Bobbie & Papa's house)

Once again, as we entered the small room that is their 'office', we were beyond swarmed by salesmen *semi-shudders* Praise God Beth had been there the day before, so no choice needed to be made as to whom to 'work' with. Introductions ensued *enter baffling over my name*, and the car was eventually pulled up for us to look over/re-inspect.
Hooray for men, poker faces, silent/stealth communication, & nit-picking! Between the three of us we represented such a tight, clean, stiff front; they got a major run for the money! From kickin' tires & poppin' hoods to haggling from well below value, we worked it for a super sweet deal!
After much ado & paperwork Beth was finally behind the wheel, following us to a 4:30 meal! We sat, enjoyed, and celebrated with yummy burgers, fries, and a tower of onion rings at RedRobin... then proceeded to drive home & watch The Incredibles. *throws head back in enjoyable laughter* good times, I'm tellin' ya, good times! ...enough already!

get your gnome
What's more fun than a cute little garden gnome? They make for great lawn ornaments, and definite fodder for years to come among family & friends!

Apparently they overstocked on these little fellas, so you're in for a deal. Just use the following coupon code: gnome-bloggers *giggle* & you'll get a 10% discount on the gnomes of your choosing. ...enough already!

Nuns Against Porn.
A bit more on the risque side (from what I understand,) but the XXXchurch guys (aka Goofballs) have been at it again. Ok, so I'm a bit behind in my podcast listening, but I've been plugging away this week already.
there's more where that came from...
I can't wait to get home and check out the video (no audio capabilities on these monsters here at work!) at Nuns Against Porn. Because, I don't know about you... but I, for one, am fed up with having to waste a fair amount of time setting up filters, reporting junk, and just shuffling through al the stupid spam that comes my way... ...enough already!
