sniping made easy
Wow, I didn't realize that buyertools has freeware (you don't have to pay anything, and it's not just a simpleton's demo version!) for all your ebay sniping needs.
there's more where that came from...
Sniping is the term used for watching, and then jumping in on an auction at the very last moment, usually assuring yourself a lower winning bid. This freeware has an
automatic eBay bidder that you can set up to bid for you at a predetermined time (right up to the very last second before your desired aution ends!)
Jonathan taught me, long ago, that habit of putting notes in my phone to remind me to check & possibly bid on watched auctions. But with this freeware that could/should very well be unecessary.
Here's a screen shot of the product at work!
Did I mention that it can be set-up to send a free text message to your phone as auction reminders? That way even though it's doing all the work for you, you know what's going on & when. Plus it's easy to set-up; importing either your open windows (in iE) or dierectly working with your "my eBay." You can run it using multiple accounts (great for roommates, shared living, or large family situations!) So everyone gets to get in on the fun.
Best of all, this freeware is freeware indeed, it contains no ads, no popups, and most importantly: no spyware is involved in the software (a genuine concern with many freeware type offerings of this sort.)
I don't know about you, but I'm sold. ...enough already!

a feeble band
So Jonathan did som'n icky to his back today at work. I, obviously, am still struggling with my severed finger. Elizabeth smashed her hand in a van door long ago, and has yet to have it recover. Together we make for a pretty sad bunch, although highly amusing at times!
there's more where that came from...
We got together tonight to delve into creativeness (more to come once the ditty/jingle is finished), eat some salad, and giggle as much as possible with Boy Meets World. I love fun friends! ...enough already!

Back to School
I stil quasi-gage my days/years by 'the school year', despite the fact that I haven't been in school for years! However, the majority of my friends have their lives revolving around said schedule: some folks heading off to college, and still others who are the givers of the education.
there's more where that came from...
Rachel runs a preschool, and in her whole revamp of the place she spent hours (if not days researching and deciding upon just the right School Furniture... what an odyssey that was! (this site would have been vrey helpful in that venture: it wide variety, easy interface, and one-stop shopping!)
I always loved to have new School Furniture to sink my self into. I can't wait to set up my own small school setting for my own children's learning experience! *sigh* Someday I will form the young minds of 'mini-me's! ...enough already!

Emasculation Proclamation
As if I wasn't already high enough on my horse today, I continued to listen to podcasts. This time Ryan Dobson/KOR Ministries was talking about how as a society we are demasculating/efeminizing our men... resulting in, well, the famine of real men that we are all currently experiencing.
there's more where that came from...

Jesus Loves Pornstars
Talk about creating scandal with a title, or a tagline. Amazing how the pure truth can be so feared, opposed, and ridiculed!
I've got to give props to the guys at TripleXChurch.com, they are out there: talking about the tough stuff, facing it head on, and getting their hands dirty at every opportunity, all in the name of Jesus. Meanwhile they're having to deal with constant flack from a large part of the christian community. That, I do not understand!
there's more where that came from...
Is that what we've come to? So, set apart & cut off from the world [mostly its sin], that we can't see the love He has for the sinner. Missing out on the hope He has for the lost. What happened to our hearts breaking at the mere thought of such dreadful traps and inhumanities? Where's the love, the compassion, the Heart of Christ?
Maybe I'm a bit too riled up, but I honestly don't think so. I think we too often turn our heads and choose to simply look away. Deciding someone dug their own hole & now they get to dwell in it is so much easier then actively being available to pull them out once they reach the rocky bottom! The vulnerability involved in an outstretched arm is intense; you could be rejected... they could choose not to follow... you might have to walk away knowing you could not help, today! But the rewards so much outweigh that scary possibility. What if they reach out? What if your words & your love speak Jesus into their lives? What if you are the only one who has ever even offered that truth to them? Can we really live with that even slim chance at letting someone fall off the deep end [of no return]?
My heart is leaping. I've been listening to Dirty Little Secrets [XXXChurch podcast] all morning. The Trinity Project is what it's all about. That, and people like Shelley Lubben (sharing through the miracle of her own testimony) is what it's all about folks! How long can we sit back and pretend it doesn't affect us? ...enough already!
