Imagine this: a [white?] sandy beach, large tents (for shade & wind protection), coastal [tropical?] flowers [floating] as centerpieces, small sea shells strewn about the tables, friends & family arriving in beautiful summer wedding attire (just a notch below black tie)...
there's more where that came from...
They each soak in the atmosphere, after witnessing the most amazing moment of your life, ready to continue the celebration. Scanning the tables for some sort of indication as to appropriate seating, their eyes settle on small, smple, personalized treasures. Sand Dollars, perfectly placed in the center of each setting, with their name/s beautifully inscribed.
I don't know about you, but I like it! Seems so pleasantly perfect for the setting. Plus they can be the name card and/or the keepsake (simply flip it over to memorialize your names, the date, & occassion!) *sigh* The coast/beach beckons me of late!
...enough already!

Jonathan & I took Elizabeth into Ptown (& slightly beyond) today, in search of the vehicle. Poor used car salesmen, didn't know what they were in for when we walked through the door! It was quite fun (& eventually fruitful) in the end... but oyg was it a long, hot, slightly frustrating [mentally] day!
there's more where that came from...
We started out going through some online & Oregonian classifieds with blank looks and shruggy responses from an uninspired Beth. Not to mention the fact that the most promising of leads gave not even an answer to our phone inquiries. Finally we forged ahead, on towards the scary land that is dealerships/lots!
After the randomest of encounters at a PizzaHut (merely a potty stop!) Jonathan had found a good response and a lot with multiple opportunities in the difficult range we were dealing with. Off to BeaverTown it was (with some directive guidance, by phone, from my 'rents.)
Talk about sadness incarnate; this dealership, which shall remain nameless (mostly because it escapes me at the moment,) had next to nothing to offer & that that they did offer either didn't start or looked like a dog had called it his play pen for the last 4 years! So suddenly we were headed back to HappyRock, to the dealership she had been to the day before, to follow-up on & reconsider a vehicle that looked better & better by the minute under these 'enlightening' circumstances.
*past mid-night at this point, not done writing; totally need to go to bed*
[the continuation]
...enough already!

If there's anything I can remember looking forward to every fall: thinking about, contemplating, hoping, dreaming, planning... it was Halloween!
The costume always had to be just right, down to the last little detail.
there's more where that came from...
I'm still that way when it comes to costume parties (we don't have nearly enough of those, by the way!) But check out these kid's Halloween costumes, they are amazing! Each one is so intricate & of seemingly worthy quality. I wish we had had the internet when I was a kid. (They have Aurora! *swoony sigh*)
*suddenly wondering what small child she could be shopping for*
Hooray for cute baby Halloween costumes! Makes a girl want to bear children!
...enough already!
