looking forward
I've got a friend or two coming over tomorrow night after work & such. Liz is heading off to college again, so the hope is a final hoorah/blessing before she goes. Pizza, pals, possibly fun!?
there's more where that came from...
Therefore, my day shall be busy (not that today wasn't!). Kicking it off with an early ride (you take what you can get when you are working with people's aide) & physical therapy *winces at the mere thought*. Then off to work (here in Hood River, at least!), coming home just in time to final quasi-prep the place for a couple visitors!
I'm trying to psych myself up a bit, can you tell? ...enough already!

searching the classifieds
So I'm on the prowl for a job. Sprucing up the resume, assuring great references (even a prepared letter of reference!), and re-evaluating my composure/stance in interviews. Do I stick with an entry level job search? Go for the gusto & apply all over (not that there are many to choose from in the area)? Get really nit-picky & lower my chances, while assuring sincere interest in each opportunity? *throws head back in defeat* "ah, the agony!"

Primetime
a strange change from the fun-loving movie I just watched, the television is conjuring up scary images and sad thoughts for me!
there's more where that came from...
It's all reminding me of a while back, when folks showed up locally.
I'm a huge backer of free speech, & instilling values in your children... but where do we draw the line? How can these folks learn that they are so far from truth? *things still unveiling themselves as I type* How is it that their father isn't able to interveen?
*heart heavy*
ah, so at the time of the seperation/divorce he wasn't on top of his game. It's all sad, very sad! ...enough already!

girlfight
We all know I need to find a new niche in my excersize regime. How about boxing? I could don cute pink boxing gloves, maybe lose the flab in my arms, and sweat like a pig ought to. Although, to be perfectly honest, for a bit that shouldn't be an option. What with the hand/finger injury & all. But for the future, I may very well have to look into some serious punching bag options.
there's more where that came from...
Plus who can resist pink boxing gloves? We all know I'm all about the sports where one can individualize with the accessories (swimming: suits; rollerblading: sweet boot accents; mini-golf: the bright distinguishing ball)
*off to conjure more excuses to punch a bag* ...enough already!

the update
So I finally got to see Dr. Madey again about the finger.
The good news: I don't have to follow-up again for another 2 months!
there's more where that came from...
The bad news: I can still rupture the tendon during that entire time.
So, it's a heckuva long road ahead! PT (he was somehow trying to make sure she knows how to deal with a flexor tendon laceration; they referred me there!?) will be surely intensive. I can start using the actual muscle (hopefully slowly, but surely) now, but no major usage/stress/heavy-lifting. Erg, 2 months! *keeps reminding self that this will mean permanent usage/improvement on what could otherwise result in a 'dead' limb*
The splint stays for another week. Then, it's at least a move to some long sleeved items, again. (hooray for a bit of progress in the wardrobe department!)
As for work, I'll have to continue to baby/limit it; being careful will be the key. I'll also need to be in full 'finding another job' mode as well. *praying* Which, in and of itself gives me the heebies, throw in my current state & I'm awfully weary of the process & prospects. *huge sigh*
Finally, there's the driving... with the splint off, and having gained some strength I'll be hoping to get back behind the wheel more often. *suddenly wondering if that's going to be necessary (already) tomorrow, as perspective rides aren't calling to confirm.* ...enough already!

get yer news
Now you can get all the news you want (and none of want you don't want), sent straight to your mobile device, from Newsland. For free, baby!
there's more where that came from...
I like the idea of getting my news on my phone/handheld, customizing feeds, etc. plus this software is fast & easy to install, simple... wonderful! ...enough already!

the eb & flow
so... whatdya know!?
life continues to be the same dumb game of 'yes you!', 'op no... not now', 'yada yada yada'.
there's more where that came from...
I'm so sick of people fronting one thing and meaning a whole other. I'm done with walking around on empty eggshells to appease falsities. Get real folks! Your undermining actions speak loufer volumes than you think... and tip-toeing, sneaking, and whispering around only flaunts the fact you are hiding. *growl*
---
On a much brighter note: Miss Sue & I had a nice day... caught the movie, talked like women ought, and just enjoyed each other's company! ...enough already!
