So then comes the question: what would I do if I won a kajillion dollars?
First off, I'd happily plunk out a phatty tithe check... that should give the new building/vision a jump! Then I'd hit all my insane debt/bills (think recent medical tragedies & a smattering of random rack-ups from an awful man!) Then & only then would I be able to really sit back and delve into the rest without any nagging responsibility.
Knowing myself, I'd probably do the math and figure out if some sort of investment/trust would be the way to go... to forever glean from it a livable flow of funds. Then again, planting/purchasing a good piece of land/home in this area could eventually be a priority as well, as prices aren't plunging anytime soon, nor is my interest to remain here!
A couple fun perks might be assuring my parents can keep their home/land despite the recent turmoil; a newer car (a VW Beetle or a WRX) a fun, mindless, trip/excursion; definitely a nice digital SLR; andperhaps some cell phones (a huge "family plan") to hand out to those silly friends who still don't have them!
oh, and presently... I'd order up a personal maid/shopper/care-giver/cook/pt to help me with the one-handedness!
