So I went in for an interview today...
at the Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital...
for a beta-position *giggle*: basically an on-call, floatish, scenario...
with the ultimate hopes of it merely being a "get you foot in the door" situation, moving into full-time/actual employment. It could entail 1-2 months 40hs/wk training here & PTown, and eventually only the guarantee of 1 shift per 2wk period. Mind you, this is a big hospital, open 24hs/day, with many a department to cover, so the likelyhood of long-term is high.
The interview went well from what I experienced, and I honestly hope & pray I get the opportunity to prove myself worthy of th call-back and eventual hire. It looks to be just the right fit for me at this time. God willing, so it shall be!
pray with me?
