Leslie sent me this list of Natural Highs long ago... as I was just perusing through my gmail... I decided to look them over, dream a bit, and simply reflect on my life, loves, and great goodness that is thus far.

- Laughing so hard your face hurts.
- A hot shower.
- No lines at the supermarket.
- A special glance.
- Getting mail.
- Taking a drive on a pretty road.
- Hearing your favorite song on the radio.
- Lying in bed listening to the rain outside.
- Hot towels fresh out of the dryer.
- Chocolate milkshake. (or vanilla or strawberry!)
- A bubble bath.
- Giggling.
- A good conversation.
- The beach.
- Finding a 20 dollar bill in your coat from last winter.
- Laughing at yourself.
- Midnight phone calls that last for hours.
- Running through sprinklers.
- Laughing for absolutely no reason at all.
- Having someone tell you that you're beautiful.
- Laughing at an inside joke.
- Friends.
- Accidentally overhearing someone say something nice about you.
- Waking up and realizing you still have a few hours left to sleep.
- Your first kiss...
- Making new friends or spending time with old ones.
- Playing with a new puppy.
- Having someone play with your hair.
- Sweet dreams.
- Hot chocolate.
- Road trips with friends.
- Swinging on swings.
- Making eye contact with a cute stranger.
- Making chocolate chip cookies.
- Having your friends send you homemade cookies.
- Holding hands with someone you care about.
- Running into an old friend and realizing that some things (good or bad) never change.
- Watching the expression on someone's face as they open a much desired present from you.
- Watching the sunrise.
- Getting out of bed every morning and being grateful for another beautiful day.
- Knowing that somebody misses you.
- Getting a hug from someone you care about deeply.
- Knowing you've done the right thing, no matter what other people think.
- yes, the falling part is fun... it's the wonking upon the ground soon thereafter that keeps getting me!
- oh the cheeks! or your stomach...
- *closing eyes, tilting heading slightly back, imagining the wonderful water running over her face*
- I especially appreciate no lines for the checkers that I know...
- from a special someone?
even just the look that tells you that you're seen... you're known... and most certainly not overlooked, if not understood!
- handwritten, snail mailed letters, are too far between these days... I too fall victim to the ease of other communications, but there's nothing like receiving a true letter unexpectedly!
- with a swift, yet safe driver behind the wheel, so you can simply sit back, relax, & thoroughly enjoy!
- *suddenly singing* "Here I am, on the other side of the radio!"
- as long as there's no accompanying thunder & lightning... or if the latter is included, as long as I'm not alone!
- or putting on clothes, fresh out of the dryer... or getting a hug from someone who did!
- butterscotch!
or eggnog, or pumpkin!

- hmmmm... yeah!
- on my list to accomplish this year!
- any $, anywhere works for me!

- helps to have folks around who encourage you to do so with all of your heart... hooray for peeps literally loving my laugh!

- animals are such amazing therapy... as can be small children, at times!
