yesterday we recieved word that a dear friend (akin to a brother) died in a motorcycle accident...
yesterday was long, hard... and certainly a flood of unexpected emotions. today presses on, small pieces of life going back into motion, but the stupified daze continues.
as the week/end progresses, more than anything I want to be able to revel in the mere opportunity to have met/known him what little I could, and praise God for the friendship he provided so many!
his memorial service will be on sunday, so I'll be heading out of town this weekend.
