unkymood: sparklyok, so it's that time of year again... time to review the year that's soon to pass... shawn beat me to it, but I'm gonna share none the less!

  2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? i don't do those, but I know that my hopes for the year... went as well as one can conjure under human constraints!

  3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Heidi had my first niece... making me officially an aunt, and then Andrea had my first nephew, making me an aunt twice over!

  4. Did anyone close to you die? not that I can recollect... random people I recognized were in the obits of the Hood River paper, but the only funeral I went to was Josh's grandfather's.

  5. What countries did you visit? Argentina, and then there were the two extended visits to the Costa Rican airport... they've got these shops that serve up various espresso goodie samples!

  7. What date(s) from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? february 14th, best valentine's ever!; april 27th, the mere discovery of half birthdays created much memories; august 27th, moved to bingen; september 23rd, the accident; october 27th, a great friend's birthday; november 27th, my best birthday... hooray for 27!

  20. How did you spend Christmas? the preparation was the most blessed parts of it all: the decorating my home, hiking/hunting down an actual tree; but on the eve I had milanesa and time with dad's family, the day of mom's family had breakfast and exchanged gifts, and the day after mom's extended family came together for more food and fun!

  21. How will you be spending New Year's? today I'm spending [much needed] pime with jonathan, heading into ptown for the slightest shopping, and some dinner... then it's off to the wold's for an appearance at their open house, eventually i'll make an escape and head back here, hoping others may come and join, to reflect, and pray with pime into the New Year... tomorrow there's a chili feed up at the rich-wimmer's!

  35. What political issue stirred you the most? this whole election had me sick to my stomach... not only did I find myself constantly trying to assure myself that folks on the same side of the fence as me were exercising their privilege to vote... but once the voting happened I was glued to results, praying we would remain a slightly conservative country!
