I had to skip out of the last session yesterday, and hit the hay. after a day of awful plane travel... followed by a day of awkward conference sitting... my back was in severe pain!

I got to my room, popped some pills, took an u:ber hot shower, and actually collapsed in bed, towel on head, and fell asleep nearly immediately!
I must've slept right through co-workers phone calls & urgent knocks, and even a gi-normous family moving in next door, kiddies screaming et al. I groggigly got a glimpse of light when someone knocked nearby later in the night... but really dozed in & out trying to watch tv, sleeping through the rest of the night!

today was a bit better on the back... so I hit the stores after everything was over. I'm on the prowl for perfect jonathan gifts, to little avail! trying to look at artwork, crafty goodness, and even random tidbits and stuffs to either fulfill the bill or at least inspire me to make something that will knock his socks off. honestly, i've returned to the hotel rather disappointed! *growl*
I get all nervous, uptight, and sort of worked up when I can't find just the right something for someone... the only reason I can think of that birthdays bother me... as you are then in this fix of obligation, where as when there is no timing hanging over your head you can come up with and/or conjure millions of ideas and possibilites! *sigh*
