Apparently the woman who whopped into me was indeed in an SUV-ish vehicle as I believed. An 88 Jeep Wagon to be specific... and she's from Klickitat; Mrs. Crooks (i seriously feel awful for this poor woman who now has to deal with all the insurance up-ages and such... eeks!)
I called my insurance company, and then hers. She had already called to make a claim (hoo-ray!) so it was pretty simple on that end... until I needed to talk to a claims adjuster, right then and there. I'm sorry, but I insisted as we are already on the fifth day since the accident and I've been without vehicle since then. Legally they have to get me at least a rental within 48 hours. yeah, we're way past that now!
Anywho, got talking to someone and explained the extent of damage to my precious car [slightly hanging front bumper, super-squished rear, back seat misaligned, visible bubbles on roof top, visible buckling along the bottom of the frame near doors, doors not opening or closing properly, driver's seat won't sit up, heating/air unit completely out of dash upon impact, etc] in fact, she stopped me somewhere in there and said that that was enough to give her the impression the car may very well be 'totaled' especially noting the year and she authorized 5 days of a rental vehicle. Praise God!

I immediately called Ralph at D&S and he assured me they had something for me... he already knew/had heard I'd been rear-ended, my guess: Michael &/or Leslie had spread the word at church in Jonathan's absence.
Got a ride up to the shop, and drive away in a pretty nifty Ford Escort. not exactly my type of car, but it runs... I can drive it... it's not all u:ber bashed up... and I'm not paying for it in the meanwhile!
