Are there any stairs in or around your house? studio: um, it's above a garage... duh!; house: *big grin* yeah, leading up to the screened in porch, and again down into the basement...
Have you ever fallen down them? *eek! face, looking around coyly* um yeah... luckily praise God! at the time I was living alone, and no guests were over.
Basically I had just taken a nice shower, got all spiffed up to go over to my dad's house and then on to another event of sorts somewhere else (details are fuzzy.) Anywho, it was either late spring or early summer, because I was wearing my old, well worn in, OldNavy thongs & overalls. Got to the bottom of the stair well, and didn't realize that a huge puddle had accumulated from a drain issue in the shower (located directly above the landing of the stairs/my entry way.) As soon as my non-traction thong hit the linoleum with all that water, my foot lost place and I went careening into a heap there at the bottom of the stairs. Arms & legs in the air, the only thing touching the floor was my back... mind you there's not a whole lot of room to move in that space. By the time I could get my bearings I was soaked to the core, aching, and rather embarrassed (despite the fact no one had actually witnessed the incident!)
then there's the time I fell down the stairs from the loft at my mom's house... I'll save that one, for another time!
