yikes! I'm so close to leaving, yet so far away from being anywhere close to ready...
thankfully, all the travel advice I could ever need is actually inside mine own head... what with all my many travels to this very country in question! (however, I hadn't ever told myself, "don't drop your ATM card down the elevator shaft. That�s inconvenient." that's a new one!)
can't forget:
- ample underwears... you never know whom will offer to launder said items
- music... not only to listen to on he way, but a wide enough spectrum to actually share it with the unenlightened!
- cashola... not so much you could risk losing it all, but not so little that you're stuck whenst they won't take your plastic!
- appropriate sleeping atire... you are staying in the homes of various peoples!
- up-to-date address book... otherwise you won't even know where to start when trying to get a hold of people you haven't talked to in years!
still to do:
- wash clothes... lots and lots of them, mostly trying to locate more wintery items for packing!
- pack up, at least some, of my home... it's going to need to get done eventually; might as well make it now vs. later!
- throw away vast amounts of crud... it will make the whole process so much easier, for everyone involved
- show andy [+ someone else for while he's at Creation] the ropes for the kitties... pray to God they forgive me, when I get back and we uproot!
- find some place to live... it would strangely entice me to actually accomplish all these goals, as well as give me piece of mind while away, so as not to stray from my long-term plans!
