I randomly decided to check on ticket prices for the looming leg of my trip state-side. again, everything was still over $400... and edging closer & closer to 5 or 6 if I wanted to leave at a quasi-decent time, without endless waits at various airports along the way.
remembering jonathan touted great rapport with orbitz, I gave them a[nother] whirl. I've never felt i found anything of value there... what sort of crack I was on previously, I know not!
I snagged myself the sweetest scheduled times I've seen yet... at a mere $284.40
bringing my grand total flight price to less than $850. I'm so seriously super-stoked that I had to call and thank mr. jonathan... and spread the good news. [side note: hooray for friends who actually whoop with you!]
*sustained sigh* finally... it's all said & done... now I just need to remember to pay back my padre who so eagerly offered up his plastic info when I called him hurriedly to nab the deal! gracias pa!
