you know how you can spend insane amounts of time with someone... yet never actually get the chance to really dive into things, talk for real, share serious stuffs!
yeah, so scheduling at times is necessary to accomplish said goals. made some time for just that, and spent the afternoon with (and probably overwhelming) mister jonathan.
got yummy sandwiches at the bagel shop *still wishes she had finagled at least a taste of his* with kettle chips and the given green apple sodas.... *licking lips* yum! went to jackson park, and proceeded to chow & chat! after that, it was a drive-thru harvey's for fun & necessary beverages... and a second stop at ruthton park to scope out the spectacular view, and continue to soak up scattered rays while talking more.
topics of interest were wide in range, enlightening to say the least, and possibly more than the 'deep' he'd expected. I pray i didn't completely flip him out with some aspects of my upbringing, childhood, later years bc, and even some pending problems of the present... all in the name of building trust, maintaining honesty, and stepping out into the realm that really scares me: where people might actually get the chance to get to know me! *shuddering*
so, I'm off to san diego later this week... then randy clark's in town for the weekend... followed by greatly involved weekends up until the wedding, and even beyond that! *huge sigh of overwhelmed expectation*
