I spent the greater part of my Leap Day in the presence of wonderful company...
Mrs Miles & miss ruthanne had invited me over for the afternoon (& the night) "unbeknownst to jonathan". Family was also arriving for yummy lunch goodness, so the house was rip-roaring with excitement through and through!
4 little kids running around eager to attain complete attention of adoring aunts & uncles, and a complete stranger is quite the site to see... I can't wait to get home and see the pix and videos I captured *stifling giggles*
I bet jonathan also got some great pictures (although I was trying hard to not pay too close attention as to what and/or whom he was catching... my little way of embodying the attitude that I'd like to see when behind the lens; being an example so to speak, despite my own aversion to being the subject), we'll have to wait for the culmination & development of the roll!
I drank loads of various teas, including the ever present passing mate *giddy jumping at locals who observe such wonderful culture and tradition*, ate fair amounts of amazing foods, eagerly helped with dishes *making shuddering/confused face*, and kicked some major butt [again] at Scrabble *giddy grin, again*
Oh it was god times...
of note: I also slept quite soundly for the first time in a long while... thank you!
*can't forget* I have to tell you all about the cool morning outing Ella & I had pre-church, running errands!
